An Absolutely amazing idea for Home

A Web Cafe .... how simple of an idea but sooo good, just a nice web cafe to sit down on a computer and connect the web browser ... im sure sony have thought of this ! D

I can see Sony adding something like that. Honestly though, the only thing I want to do is be able to listen to my own music in Home. You should be able to either: walk around with an MP3 player playing your music and/or play music on a stereo in your apartment (so that anyone in there can hear it). How cool would that be?!

Yeah I'm kinda bummed about the PSP being removed...the new one kinda looks like some GPS **** or something, not sure what they were exactly going for. I wish you could choose a PSP or the new one and even then change the color...wouldn't mind seeing my dude bust out a Blue PSP.

And I like the original idea...a little Web Cafe would be awesome. So many cool things that could be done with Home.

That would be a cool idea.

One thing that I want is to have a party system inside of HOME. So say you and 2 of your friends are playing and they leave the room, a message will pop up on screen asking if you want to go with them. Instead of you not noticing they left the room and have to go into the menu and join them again. It would make it a little easier.

are we going to be able to stream videos off our HDD's still? and they should make "interactive" emotes. like there is the wave and suh, but what about Shaking Hands, or Slapping, alot of people in there need a slapping, i especially give a "hard slap" to the females so if a guy is harassing them they can slap it and make the guy fall down, giving them enough time to get away or report the dude w/o further annoyance

I think in the final release of HOME you will be able to listen to music from your HDD when in your apartment. That and viewing the movies off your HDD was a huge selling point for me.

in home music would be nice. the songs in the central square where everyone dances needs more music. those 3 in there already suck.

web cafe, i like it. of course my comp is only 4 feet away from my ps3 i don't want to blow a fuse (comp, ps3, hdtv, surround sound, light)

It's not a bad idea. But I think its also a very long long way round of going to the web browser when its clearly on your XMB and there would be no other benefits of doing so.
Unless you could browse together with your friends on like a split screen thing.

Also want the PSP instead of the current...thing. Would be nice to be able to "plug in headphones" to listen to music off your HDD.

That would be pretty cool, browsing the web and chatting to your friends at the same time. As long as the phone calls work it would be cool.

The party system a la LBP is a great idea. Also, being able to play music and movies from your HDD to friends in your HOMEroom sounds like a good idea but where would Sony stand on allowing public broadcasts? I think that licencing issues will put a stop to that idea.
