You need to add Run D.M.C.'s Christmas In Hollis to that list!!!

    Interesting list you compiled there.

If you went traditional, I wouldda said either, Slade, Wizzard or Mariah.

But Avid Merrion takes this one. Its great.

The original Band Aid is a classic, as is Wham's 'Last Christmas' but, if we're going for pure epic, it has to be Wizzard or Slade.

Loyalty to petrified opinion never yet broke a chain or freed a human soul.

I haven't heard of a single song on that list, WTF is this.

EDIT: Just saw you're all from the UK, so I'm guessing those songs are as well, maybe putting UK in the title would help.

Merry Xmas everybody by Slade is probably the most iconic.

Went with wish it could be Christmas everyday. But i don't actually, cos then it would lose all meaning...non logical, but lovely song nonetheless.

Band Aid 20!!! Are you having a giraffe??? It was even worse than Band Aid 2 (Stock, Aitken & Waterman version)!!!
It's gotta be Slade although the Mariah Carey song is a modern Christmas classic.

If you haven't heard John Lennon man. You are missing out. You don't have to be from the UK to know of that man. I'm from Ohio.

    The Beatles For the Win.

Although I'm convinced (but this is coming from someone who doesn't generally enjoy Christmas music) that Dustin Kensrue's Song "This is War" is the best Christmas song. But that's just me.

Thrice's version is far better. Making the song electric and adding double bass doesn't make it good. And Thrice actually sings the song as well.

    P.S. Double bass sucks.

I said I haven't heard of the songs, not the people, although Mariah Carey and John Lennon were the only names I recognized.
