Yesterday while on CoD4 online, My connection dropped into the Red. I'll get like 2 bars maybe three at the max every now and again. But more the less stays in the red.
Does any one know how to fix this? I have cable internet and use a wired connection. This is the first time this has ever happened.
When I hook my computer back up it works fine. Any clue?

Check your router. You may need to open up some ports. Here's a list of needed ports needed for PSN:
All games published by Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA)may use the following ports for communication with the game servers:
• TCP Ports: 80, 443, 5223, and 10070 - 10080
• UDP Ports: 3478, 3479, 3658, and 10070
For the PLAYSTATION®Network:
• TCP Ports: 80, 443, 5223
• UDP Ports: 3478, 3479, 3658

You'd need to access your router. If you don't know how to do it, don't go stuffing around with it. If you know someone who knows, have them help you out. I would say it's easy, but thats because I know how to do it. I suppose you can look on youtube or google port forwarding to see if there's a walk through

It could be an issue with your ISP, do you get the same connection issues with other online games?

It's just a sign sent from the Gods above dude. Basically what they're tellin you is you bought into a crappy series, that's beyond over rated, just like Halo was.
Hence why yer connection fails only on this game...
...Unless anyone has a better reason?Haven't been on here in like 2 years.. Same people still moaning.
