Wow it looks good. I'd just like to know a little about the story and things like that. If I get the chance and it comes out for the PS2 then I'll definitely give it a try. I never played Starcraft but I'm aware of its legendary RTS status so like Rebon I'm also interested to see how it ports to a FPS. I remember Westwood made Command and Conquer Renegades which was a FPS but as you are all aware C&C is also one of the most established RTS's out there.
Command and Conquer Renegade was a bit of a mix. You could have fun with it, but there were long boring tedious moments. It could have had a great multi player mode but it was spoilt by laggy servers. Not a game for a hardcore FPS fans but it was worth a look if you liked the C&C series. I predict the same will probably be true of this game - but it does look pretty good - so fingers crossed for a quality cross-over.

Its actually an rpg/fps. Kinda like diablo...but in first person and in sci fi. It is only for the PS2.
You are a ghost, you go around on a mission doing things like assasinating and stuff. As you progress you will learn special techniques such as cloak, revert, and nukes for those special missions.
I wish they would make starcraft 2 for the PC, (its not brood war as BW was an expansion so dont bother.).
Morpheus, If you likes WCIII Frozen throne, then youll like SC 1 and BW. I dunno about this though. Depends on your taste of FPS and RPG.

starcraft ghost is a tactical-action game, not a FPS, its actually third person i believe (though like most third person games it does go first person in certain situations)
and its coming out the PS2, xbox and gamecube
Dragonlance you will be happy to know that blizzard does want to and most likely will do a starcraft 2 sometime (and if you ask me there is a good chance they might start it after finishing WoW)
cool fact: starcraft to date has sold over 7 million copies making it one of the best selling PC games of all time"Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former."

lol i use to be a huge battle net player the reason it sold so many copys was because people would pay the 10$ to get more cd keys so they could log more bots and flood people and crap so it may be one of the top selling games but only a small percentage actualy play it

got this from psm
i got this from the august edition of psm
"in startcraft proper, terra's Ghost unit is a sci-fi sam fisher capable of unleashing nuclear fury onto the hapless hordes of the insectiod zerg and th spiritualy clean protoss.
thankfully unabted development continues on the third person starcraft ghost any qualms associated with the initial showings have been quelled, since we,ve played through a little bit of the game that's nothing short of quality focusing on ghost femme fatale nova, sc:ghost forces players to cautiously navigate through perplexing starcraftmainstays, including the creep controlled worlds of the brood, the forested homelands of the galaxys noble protoss, and theburning war machine of humanitys wayward remnants.
Nova utilizes a dual analog schema to dispatch foes with savvy weaponry and operable vehicles, like siege tanks and goliaths
The sell is this combination of inuitive action and splinter cell-like game play set against a starcraft backdrop. from what we've played we're ready to go spectral. this review was written by ivan sulic
as i said before i hope you can commandeer protoss vehicles and maybe even fly some air units but i guess we will have to wait and see.

Suggestion
As you know rebon will go away some times and he can't be here every second of the day. So we have news that is waiting to be put up, and no one around. Would it be possible to make a few people have the power of putting up news?
Could make things flow more smoothly, and you wouldn't need to worry about all the news articles to put up.

Rebon has discussed that when the time comes he will promote a few people to editor of certain sections and I am sure being editor, you will have to power to do this.

Well a PM he sent me suggests editor positions will be assigned around E3 or at launch.

Yes, when the site and staff numbers grow, and we have more content which constantly needs to be added, a number of people will be promoted to Editors of certainly categories. They will, of course, have the power to add/edit articles in their category (i.e. News or Reviews). This will be part of the new backend script.
