I think i just got banned from PSN

I was playing NHL 09 and my game froze and i reset my ps3 and when it reset it told me i could not access the playstation network from my account error code 8002A227

i dont get it i dont remember what i did wrong

I had that before. Just waited a while and it worked again. Try again in a couple hours.

Theres no mistake, just try resetting your connection / router.... should do the trick.

It's just an error. Usually if you reset your router, it will start right up.

Now that that is out of the way, it's obvious that you have been naughty or else you wouldn't be thinking you were banned. What did you do? Spit it out.

how can you get banned youe swore on your mic or did send someone a harsh message theres is no way you can get banned

It's just an error. Usually if you reset your router, it will start right up.

the worst i did today was tell some 15 year old kid to stop talking because he was too young with no profanities(swear on my mothers grave)

From reading around though it doesn`t seem to last long and a router reset can usually fix it.

well after i finish talking to sony i will reset my router and modem but hopefully sony can fix this because it has to be a mistake

After you call them dont forget to tell us why they banned you.

No buddy your definitely banned because i just got that error code like 2 weeks ago and when i called SONY they said i was banned for 30 days... i would call SONY to see how long it is and what the ban was for... But the other guys saying if you reset your router it will work its not because all your accounts are banned if you have multiple accounts ...

PS im telling you this because this just happen to me.. so call SONY ..

well it depends on what he did his ban could be from 2hrs to 30 days or it can be a definite ban... somebody could of reported him.. but the reason why i got was because someone reported me for game sharing so watch who you share your PSN games with..

That sucks...why anyone would want to openly share a purchase with someone they don't know is beyond me...that's pretty risky...you expose your account to being stolen, and if you're not careful, potentially Credit Card information, too.

Hopefully game sharing does not get to the point where it is abused so much that Sony decides to end it. I do like being able to play the games I have bought on several different PS3s at different locations.

Well its either he`s been acting like an *** online, cheating while playing online or he has been busted sharing a beta.
