Trophy Percentage = Weird

Every time I look at my trophies I have the constant nag in my head that "How come I have 32/51 trophies which is around 60% technically speaking.. yet it only shows as 45%"

I know the Platinum and golds take up more of a percentage but I think this is a little bit weird.

I just find that when your percentage is worked on the 360 it is the actual percentage.. not that this is worse than the 360.. it just looks weird to me.

ye, its because the platinum takes up soo much, which is a bad thing, i dont think the platinum should be in ther percentage but individual imo so you actually no how much percentage you got and it would also give room for more trophies

It is weird. I've got the One Gun, Epic Tier 3 & Platinum trophy to get on Dead Space and it's at 69%. Figured the percentage was weighted by the trophy type but that's a hell of a lot for the higher level ones.

Thank god I'm not the only one who finds it weird. I just rather see my percentage for what it really is.. it takes a good chunk off just cause you don't have the platinum.

Idont mind the weighting of trophies but the Platinum should be taken out of the equation. It should soley be awarded for gaining 100% of the games trophies. It does seem silly that you might only be missing one gold trophy and it shows about 60% complete!

yeah, i find it weird too. For Dead space the only trophy i need is the epic tier 3 engineer, yet the percentage is 77%, lol. >_<

I only needed 5 trophies for burnout, and I was on 64%.... Its doesn't make sense!

Yeah, the trophy percentage is really weird lol. Platinums takes bigger percentage.

Calculated on the points value of the Trophies, so it makes sense - but it does look a little strange as you say.. to have a couple of Trophies left and only be on 70% or whatever.

yeh it is kind of annoying when youve only got 3 trophies left and the percentage is like 50% but oh well im not guna get angry about it

i hope they fix this in an update, so that it actually shows what percentage u have, not what percentage of points equivalent of the trophies or w/e the F**K its supposed to mean

I beat Far Cry 2 and got most of the trophies but i'm only at 46%. Shouldn't i atleast be over 50% lol? It looks like i haven't even put that much time into the game but i did plenty. It is kind of lame

I have over 80% of wipeout trophies and it says I only have 71% =/

I agree. I like the fact that you get a bonus for 100% a game, but I don't think the points awarded for the platinum should factor into the percentage that is displayed.

Yeah, I don't think that the platinum should be included in the overall percentage, but other than that I think the trophy system's great

Last i checked, I believe Bronze is worth 15, Silver is worth 30, Gold is worth 90, and Platinum is worth like 180.

So, trophy percent depends on what the trophy worth is.. not on how many trophies you have.

its not a bug, so whats there to fix? Either way works, just one way seems strange..

It doesn't really matter though, i like to get 100% in every game i play but i've come to accept that it's just not going to happen on some games. Mainly ones with annoying trophies. As long as i beat a game i start i'm good i guess. If people actually look at your trophies they will see how much you completed in a game pretty easily so the % isn't all that important, just would look nice if it actually reflected how much you completed in games more accurately

Yeah even if they added 2 percentages.. a Trophy percentage and an Actual Percentage.

In a way though it seems like that'd be asking for too much..
