Can somebody explain to me the Spec III and the difference pls?

Graphics never cease to amaze me, perfection. I just can't wait to see how they are getting on with damage. I mean, PD did say prologue would get an update. Right?

    Wrong.

    http://www.psu.com/GT5-Prologue-car-...0003274-p0.php

"Gran Turismo Producer Kazunori Yamauchi has confirmed that car deformation will be incorporated in GT5 Prologue in the form of a downloadable update, possibly as soon as fall 2008."

Not really surprised? I mean, it's probably going to be 2010/2011 by the time we see GT5.

    Agreed.

We really need to see some updates for this title in the interim. Like most, I have completed the 1player game so am left with only the online. Online could really do with a simple stats system so that it actually has a point to racing online. Don't you think?

If they are going to introduce it, it's not going to be some garbage dent and bump scenario, but realistic damage, and not the over the top mayhem seen in Burnout either.

It will be real world car crash physics.

Hopefully in prologue before the main release.

Hopefully this year we will see alot of good updates coming from PD with the private rooms, damage and so on. i hope it releases this year. It's been quiet for the past few months from PD, they should of got alot done.

They should be concentrating their resources on getting the actual game out (GT5), not wasting time on a prologue to it.

Damage is meh to me.. not really at all hyped for it.

Private Rooms/Friends games is what I really want to see happen for GT5P in the short-term..

Damage would be good, but it's not neccessary, 'specialy not in prologue. What is neccessary imo is private rooms (asap) and some sort of online ranking/leaderboard, maybe not in prologue for this, but def in the full version.

    And some more TRACKS!

I would like to see some livery customization in GT5 as well, nothing big, but just something so that you can make your car different, possibly unique.

I agree online needs a big update.

I hope in GT5 they have online Drag races. Mod up your car and race the mile against other players. I'd love to see someone 'do up' and old Gulf to out drag a Ferrari. Pwnd

I didn't enjoy prologue as much as I thought I would, it really annoys me that they are still putting so much dev time into it instead of GT5.

wow i've forgetting how ridiculously good this game looked! i havent bought a game just for looks but GT5 might be the first one

GT5 is already prologue but with more car, maybe better effects, the promised car damages, weather effects and more tracks. when they feel like they have enough to call it a full game, GT5 will be out and then they'll add even more via DLC

My only complaint about the visuals is the game needs better AA very very bad. The jaggies are very distracting in game, which is why the replays and screens look better than while you are playing.

Am I the only one who thinks gt5 is just gt5p but fully updated / deveoped?
Therefor, updating gt5p is just helping develop gt5, isn't it?

The jaggies are no were near as bad as your making out, at least not to me anyway's.

quick shot I took, shows how good this game looks. That's in game and not from a replay.

Not sure what the point of the trailer is? Nothing new in it. I wish they'd either update the boring Prologue or scrap it and get to work on GT5. Yes, that includes the annoying GTTV which they seem to spend all their time on these days.
