I'm not sure if this is in the right forum but here we go
ATM i have an LG263000 HDTV with my PS3 & Sky + box connected. The only way I could get my Sky + box to work with sound was plug it in via the antenna slot. It did work with AV but I wasn't getting any sound. The picture looks very fuzzy, it's not unwatchable but annoyingly noticable. First off:
1) Is there a way I can connect it to get a better picture (and sound?)
2) If I connected up a Sky HD box, would non-HD things still look fuzzy as it is connected through the HDMI port rather than the antenna port?
Thanks![]()

1) - Use a scart, but if you getting no sound through then this is not an option.
2) - As far as I'm aware the Sky+HD boxes up scale non HD channels. I have one, and SD looks fine, no fuzziness at all, however when I just had Sky+ when I went from playing the PS3 (in HD) to watching SD at first it did look slightly fuzzy.

you should have your sky hooked up with your tv with a scart and an aerial. that's the way mine is.

had a fiddle around at the back and plugged in the s-video cable
the sound now works with AV =S
is there any way to connect the sky box with the red & white ports to get sound with S-video?

Sky+ box < scart to scart> tv will give you sound unless you have a fault with your tv.
I would check that the scart lead was plugged in correctly, because if it's slightly out the sound drops (used to happen to me alot). If not, then try a diff scart lead.A man can dream though. A man can dream...
