Okay, seriously. I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to do this. I've looked everywhere for a tutorial on how to fix this, but all I can find it something about 'adjustment' layers and GIMP doesn't have those!! Can someone PLEASE give me a rundown on how I can go about correcting these eyes?? This is something that I need to do quite often as we take quite a few pictures for our shelter. Much Appreciated!

Not sure about GIMP, but can't you select the individual pupil and color it in?

Theres one effect called ''red-eye removal'', but I don't know how well that works since I haven't tried it, but I think that's probably your best and easiest bet. My GIMP is finnish, so I can't really tell you the coordinates too well, but you can find it in the second to first effects box, along with the sharpen effect.

Bah, I'm driving myself nuts trying to figure out how to do something. I'm trying to add the translucent XMB bars to a wallpaper I plan to use for a PS3 theme which I've never done before, and am only doing now because the wallpaper I'm using is bright which makes the white text hard to read.

If anyone could make the bars for me or guide me how on GIMP, it would be much appreciated. If I'm not clear, by bars, I mean like on this:
