It's a good game, not as good as Vice City or GTA IV, but nevertheless good.
You want to make sure you're skinny/musclely, otherwise you might have a couple problems at missions.
And stick with the game, even if there are some VERY frustrating missions, like the train heist.

Oh great! Now you've got me playing GTA:SA again!
GTA:SA would have to be the no1 game to get my heart pumping. Running arround low on health, guys trying to gun you from all sides! It's fantastic!

Thanks for that, mate. I forgot about all those side missions you can do. (Damn GTA IV!)
Haha yeah, my heart was pumping when I had to save Sweet and his sister? from the gangsta shooting at his apartment. I only had a pistol and I wasn't familiar with the combat mechanics. Bloody intense lol.

Speak for yourself lol, the game is actually quite hard and enjoyable and you can actually spend money on things other then guns. *cough* GTA IV *cough*
Althought Vice City was pretty awesome, I liked the guy who always used to smash stuff if it didn't work the way he wanted it haha.

Getting that license was such a ***** to do, I hated it!

This is easy to learn, but relies mostly on luck to succeed, but not entirely.
You start off with two choices to make, how much money to bet and which horse
to bet on. The horses with shorter odds (lower numbers i.e. 2/1) have a better
chance of winning. If your horse comes in first, you win your bet back plus
whatever it's odds were as a multiple of your original bet. For example if you
bet $1000 on a 5/1 horse and it wins, you win your $1000 back plus an extra
$5000, giving $6000 in total. Anything other than a victory results in you
losing your bet.
Note that it is possible to cheat using the ITB machines to gain lots of money
fast. All you need to do is go to a machine just after loading a game, bet the
max on the horse with the longest odds, and if you lose, just reload again and
you don't lose your money. This is not something I do, as I don't like
cheating, but I know that some people out there want good money fast, and this
is a good way of earning it.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOTE: I receieved an e-mail that claimed that rather than the horses with
shorter odds having more chance of winning, as happens in real life, all
horses have an equal chance of winning on the ITB machines. If this info is
indeed true, my suggestion is to always bet on the horse with the longest odds,
that way you stand to win more money. I will be testing this method soon.

I loved GTA: San Andreas, one of my favourite videogames on PS2.

My personal opinions are not endorsed by PSU. But they should be.

Actually I found getting the license ALOT easier to achieve on the PS2 rather than the PC. The way you can slightly move the sticks on the DualShock make the flying much easier. Everything about th PS2 controller made it easier for me, so coming from the PC version it was a breeze.
