New PSU / PS3Forums coming soon!

Hey everyone!

Hope you're all having a good weekend. Just a quick post to say:

Even though we've not been posting as much as we used to, it's been for a good reason - we've been working on an exciting update to PSU and the Forums. The goal of the update is to:

* Make the forums quicker to load
* Make them much easier to use, quicker to read & more fun to browse
* Make them look nicer (some bits of the current site can be harsh on the eyes)
* Integrate them more gracefully with PSU (right now we've got loads of links on the right taking up space -- we'll make that work a lot better)
* Better browser support - no more bugs (the sites will now work with all browsers; FF2/3, IE 6/7, Safari, Chrome, Opera and even the PS3 Browser!

Hopefully you guys will like the update. We've worked hard on it Expect the upgrade at some point next week!

Oh, this is great news!
Yeah, quicker loading will be great! Especially for me on the PS3 browser, as I like to visit here with it at night using my PSP.

Thanks for the update, you really do look after these forums. I thought it worked on safari because I use the Safari browser the most.

I'm sure it is, I doubt the Administrators would make a thread saying that some changes are going to be made but they're not true.

Cool. I like the look of the forums now but a little grapgics upgrade would be nice. As long as there isn't to much going on while I am browsing the forums. The speed of these forums need to be increased alot. I hate waiting for it to load a page. It isn't that long but it should be faster.
