So I finally did it. Got my platinum in wipeout HD.

geez, congrats on that, you're a mong a small group there. i got as many trophies as I could stomach from that game. with the patch that reduced difficulty, I was able to finally beat the game, without, I had no chance.

Sektor do you use the analogue sticks or d-pad for steering in wipeout? I'm curious which the best players use. I prefer the sticks for everything except pulling off the barrel rolls in tight situations (the last one on the zico track in particular), but am beginning to think the d-pad may be the most effective.

And It does not contradict at all.

First time I was saying that the campaign was not hard without the patch.

Second time I was saying that it was hard to platinum the game.

2 completely different things.

@ Sauron07 - I have heard people say that the D-Pad is much more accurate and easier to use to barrel roll etc but tbh I found the complete opposite. I think the A.Stick was much easier, alot smoother to use.

I am very impressed. I managed to gold most the campaign, then finished the las few after the patch, doing it on elite seems way to hard for me. Then there is beat zico, the stage 75 zone, and 50 zone with only airbrakes. It's just not worth me trying.

Although I would like help getting Bling brigade if anyone wouldn't mind.
