well, where i bought it from (futurshop) there was a 1 month exchange policy, but after that month, you cant exchange it any more. but, if you bought a warranty, you could use that...

assuming your question is asking if the screen is strong, the screen itself is strong yes, but i dont know how strong and i dont plan to find out, if you know what i mean...but, it is quite easy to scratch the screen thats why i bought a screen protector. a screen protector is VERY importand, i even paid 4 times the actual price just to get a good screen protector. (there arent any good screen protectors in canada, so i had to buy it from america online, and then theres a $10 shipping fee, and then they have to turn all that to canadian dollar, then TAX ontop of that.......22 bucks altogether, while it is actually supposed to be $4.99

    EB games: http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/255993.asp

after visiting a lot of forums, and looking at what people said about all the different screen protectors, i decided to go with Hori.

I didnt buy a case yet because i dont feel its that important, just because you get one with the PSP. but ofcourse if it didnt come with the PSP, then that would have been my #1 priority...or #2, after the screen protector

my screen protecter was ruened when i got it so i just dont use one. but i did get the metal case and the hard cover. the person at gamestop said you can only return it if it had 10 or more dead pixels luckily mine had other problems so now i have one that works great. you could get the small hard case it fits in your pocket!

depends on what their return policy is. As far as I know, EB games wont let you return or exchange your PSP if you have dead pixels, but bestbuy will...(might be wrong, not 100% sure)

I'm not sure, your best bet is to actually call them or go to walmart or ask them in person. or, you could even go online and search for their policy....

My psp got dead pixel, I got my psp on the first day they came out. The thing is that it's hard to get one but I'm sure most of the psp now don't have that problem.

Its hard to get one? What are you talking about? It seems that most people do have dead pixels, and both of the ones I got have deadpixels(exchanged one).

I have one stuck pixel in the corner of my PSP. It is only noticeable on yellow screens, so I decided not to trade it in. And, I tried the dead pixel fixer video thing, but it didn't work; I ran it about 5 times. I think that there should be a new version of the PSP out by this Christmas season that has an improved LCD screen, and at least a 5 gb HDD built in.

Dead pixels aren't a big deal, I have a couple on my PSP and it doesn't bother me at all. The dead pixels are so small, I only notice them on certain colours, and sometimes it's hard to tell if it's a dead pixel or just dust on the screen. Personally I don't think its a very big deal, a few at least. If you get a cluster of dead pixels, THEN you should return it, but if you walk into a store and say "my PSP has a slight imperfection, EXCHANGE IT!!", chances are you will most likely end up with a PSP that has more dead pixels than the last one. Heck, I should walk into EB Games and tell them to exchange my PSP because the UMD Slot doesn't close fully (less than 1mm no biggie). As long as the PSP works, and the screen doesn't have a cluster of dead pixels, then I wouldn't worry about it.

Doesn't close fully? Like is there a little space between the door and the PSP itself? If so its supposed to be like that I believe.

In the pictures of it on tv, internet, magazines, etc., it shows the slot with, lets say, a 0.1mm, at both sides. On my PSP, the space is 0.1mm on the right side, and 0.2mm on the left side (not the actual numbers, the difference is so small, you probably wouldn't notice it unless if you looked at it.) So basically the door is on a very (VERY) slight slant. Like I said before, it doesn't effect the system in any way, nor does it take away from my gaming experience, it is just a slight defect in my PSP, no reason for me to exchange it.

Okay I get what you're saying, but looking on my PSP the left side is where the battery cover is. On mine there is a larger gap on the left side too. So I don't think it's a defect at all, but its just the battery cover that doesn't go over as far.

Yeah maybe, but in the pictures that I've seen (ones that show from above the PSP) it shows that its all even. But who knows maybe it isn't a defect, or maybe we both have the same defect lol
