Yes that is Gaia however I think they are focusing more on Kratos then anything else (seems he has the most colour in the picture). Anyways, awesome cover and whoever posts scans when this comes out will get so much rep from me.

I just though of something after looking at the cover.Kratos is battling enemies on Gaia's body.So maybe he was fighting on her in the trailer where we saw the big chains.Her body is like an island after all.
