A friend just sent me these pics. The phone looks good it has a touch screen interface and a 12.1 megapixel camera built in. However, Sony Ericsson needs to pull them selves together. There last couple of phones were garbage. I'll still be chillinz it with my iPhone 3G until something better comes out.

i wouldn't go near another Samsung phone, i don't know anyone that hasn't had problems with their samsung!
i had the V200 and the D200, loved em both but Samsung have sort of got lazy with design!
Sony Ericsson all the way!
Don't even go near Nokia!

One question, does it use Windows Mobile? Looks like a custom Sony one though. Also depends on service provider + price of the phone.

I got the Sony Ericsson W595 mate and I'd recommend it if you can get it on a sweet deal because I did. I pay $19 instead of $29 a month on a $29 cap because of the summer promotions which were available. Anyways since it's a walkman phone the music is great, it also has pretty much all the functions you want any phone to have (eg. bluetooth, camera etc). But yeah, since you desire a better camera the Samsung may be the sweet spot for you.

I have had the N95 for around 2 years and haven't had a single problem with it. Chunky as hell, but still one of the best phones on that market. From what see and read the samsung phones are amongst the most reliable on the market.
Yeah the 595 looks really sweet, but the camera doesn't have a flash, otherwise I would be all over it. Music playing isn't big for me because I have a Sony MP3 already which is awesome, quality wise.
The Samsung I can get for $330. So at that price I might take the plunge.

It's looks great! And I love the fact that they dropped using slow as hell Windows Mobile for open sourced S60.

Looks great and the video I saw of them demo'ing the software was smooth as can be and it was pre-alpha. Nice phone.
