The pain however, is very very real.

i did until i was 9.. i even went to wrestle mania one time.
i was a hardcore WWF fan. i even had the trivia game..

i still love stone cold.

It's not 100% real but they do get hurt and it is a very demanding job. For anyone who thinks it doesn't hurt at all then you should try out for it and then come back and let me know. When done right you still get sore, bruises, cuts, etc... when done wrong you can break bones and possibly be come paralyzed or die. It has happened before. However, like someone mentioned above, it's a soap opera for men basically and yes, I do enjoy it though not as much as I did when I was younger.

wrestling is fake I used to think it was real, when I was younger used to get real exited and jump about then get upset if stone cold got beat lol I still watch it now just for the sake of it.

Define real.
Real to me is the wrestling moves, the weapon hits, the blood, that all is real and its a fact.
Finishers are not fake, punches arent totally fake, some of them are but I do see a lot of them make contact. Wrestlers are trained to deal with pain well.

wrestling used to be real until vince mcmahon changed it all. steel chairs dont hurt at all since its made of thin metal sheets which wont hurt. Sledgehammers dont hurt because the wrestlers hand is at the top blocking the metal from actual contact. This is just basically a punch to the stomach. from actual contact. Finishers are fake. Hulk hogans legdrop is not a finisher. people use it as just normal moves so how can a person be knocked out. Sorry to criticise Hulk hogan he is the best wrestler of alltime as well as the rock

I am sorry, but that is quite inaccurate. Vince took over the business from his father, who took it over from his father... During the time that any of them were in charge, it has always been fake... they just didnt admit it until after Vince took over.

99% Of the time it's real blood, only the guys scared of razors use fake blood. The only guy in recent times who springs to mind is MR. KENNEDY....KENNEDY.

Same with Owen Harts death, people have said to me it was a storyline and I said no he fell off the platform and broke his neck, that was not part of the entertainment for that edition of Raw.

Also i think some of the pain is real, and i imagine all the moves to have a element of danger to them, obviously.
