Hello everyone! I'm brand new to the whole PS3 Scene. I figured I would try to find a forum of PS3 users to get to know and make friends on, so I'm not sitting on PSN alone lol

So far, I play Killzone 3 and DC Universe Online. Soon MW3. I'd love to get to know all of you and become good friends. <3

I'm still learning KZ3. Most of my time though has gone to DC Universe Online. I am almost done Downloading Borderlands now. I still have to get a mic for this thing lol

I don't have a mic either, well, I do have some bt headsets lying around lol. I have borderlands, but on 360, it's a really great game, and a lot of fun. You'll enjoy it I'm sure. What other interests do you have outside of gaming?

Outside of gaming, I do some video editing/Photoshoping. Graphics are fun.

I also play competitive Yugioh and other card games. I have a deep dark thing for card and board games.

Ahhh, cool. Not such a great graphics guy myself, but I've fiddled with PS/Bryce/Poser/Maya before. Check out the design section - http://www.psu.com/forums/forumdispl...-Design-Corner

I'm always looking to learn more about photoshop! I've never done 3D modeling before, and I'm still fairly basic with Photoshop. Thanks for the link, def. gonna check it out.

Well, this is what it's like in the 21st century???!!!!
Ok, ok.... I now have got myself a PS3 and so far it's a mixed relationship :-/
Got it, plugged it in using the standard lead no problem but then I picked up a HDMI lead and that's when it started.....

Set it up as best I could and I can't get a stable picture... The best way I can describe it is I get a black screen most of the time and the TV searches for a signal thought the lead, the TV does see the PS3 and VERY briefly, I get the image I am expecting...

New lead, new PS3.... The TV is 2 years old or so Sony KDL-32U3000 and never gave any problems....
I am at a loss so far so any help would be awesome!!!!

Try the cable on something else to make sure that it isn't the problem. Turn both off, plug the cable in, then turn the tv on, then the PS3. Alternatively, reset the video settings... with the PS3 off, touch and hold the power button for at least five seconds.
