Yes, i firmly blame Mclaren for not giving lewis a 2nd WDC. this year, he has driven his best and has been let down through NO fault of his own all season. I cant recall one instance this season where he has been at fault. Fuck McClaren. Funny how since he announced he was leaving, he has had 2 car faults from easy wins and JB hasnt?!??!?! hahahaha! (troll!) Surely Whitmarshs head should roll?
I dont see him doing great next year in the Merc, but at least they dont have that many unreliability issues
As for vettel, he is the luckiest driver and doesnt deserve a 3rd WDC, if it wasnt for Adrian Newey...........yes he is good, better then Webber, but not in the Alonso, Hamilton, Raikkonen league.

He should've been on his second by the time he won his first. Remember how he lost his first season by 1 point?

I thought that race was crazy shame 7 cars were retired, crashed out if it wasnt for any of that or 2 saftey cars vettel wouldnt even got any points imo, hes extremely lucky if you ask me! still isnt the greatest driver, he made up the race with saftey cars simple as. im no fan of his or alonso's but i really want alonso to win the F1 DC. to bad for lewis an gutted for button there mclaren isnt the best atm really need alot of work.
Paul di Resta surley deserves a ride for 2013! saw few issue's on TV as he didnt talk to anyone after Qualifying think he was gonna get told off!! an seems to have nudged his team m8 that took him out first corner as thought i didnt see it as paul's fault.

Well, I won't bother asking you since it's pretty clear your fanboyism has interfered with your eyesight.
I seem to recall that before the first caution flag, Vettel had already moved up to 11th place, was running laps the same speed as the leader, and everyone in front of him was on soft tyres while he was on the hards. Not only would he have easily passed the next 2 cars on the track, but he could have passed another 3 or 4 on pit rotation.
And depending on how long the hard tyres would have lasted him, he could have pulled a 1 stop pit strategy and won the race.
You also seem to forget that when the first caution flag flew he was in 11th place, and when the green flag dropped again he was back in 19th. The first caution he LOST POSITIONS, and managed to race his way back through the field a second time to come in 3rd. You also seem to forget that the crash that caused the 2nd caution flag happened BEHIND him, so that did not increase his on-track position one bit. Quite the opposite, it allowed the cars in front of him to cool their older, more worn out tyres and stay in front of him longer.
Not sure what race you were watching, but it obviously wasn't the one I saw.

take it people not too happy with the way the season is ending?

Vettel has a solid chance at winning the championship here, Alonso needs to drive like a demon to keep his chances alive!
loving the layout of the circuit though, i can't imagine how amazing it must feel to drive through all those undulations and fast corners

I am not. Vettel doesn't deserve to win the WDC if you ask me, Alonso has been the much better drive especially when you consider the car he has and the bad luck Hamilton has had.
Brilliant qually yesterday should be a damn good race today. Any idea of what time the race is on in GMT?I Like Games.

Alonso is definitley more deserving, the ferrari at the start of the season struggled getting into Q3. Alonso has dragged that team into second place in the constructors.
Schumacher did surprisingly well yesterday. Highest the Mercedes has been in quite a while. watch however, as the crappy requirements of the Mercedes engine slow both them and Mclaren down during the first stint
the race starts at 7pm i believe
BBC coverage should start at 6

Sky HD (408) coverage starts at 17:30
British citizens cannot watch this race live on BBC.
Do you get adverts on BBC in your neck of the woods?
Sky website is shite for finding out the simple race time I had to look at the actual guide which I had to scroll through 400 other channels.Last edited by keefy; 11-18-2012 at 15:45.

Ferrari are quite.....mmmm.
anything to get alonso as close to the top as possible i guess.US Grand Prix: Felipe Massa grid penalty elevates Fernando Alonso
Ferrari's Felipe Massa will get a five-place grid penalty for Sunday's United States Grand Prix, promoting team-mate Fernando Alonso to seventh.
Ferrari broke the seal on Massa's gearbox, which is against the rules.
The ruling means Alonso - battling for the title with Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel, who starts from pole - will be on the clean side of the grid.
Engineers believe that those on the dirty, even-numbered, side of the grid will lose two positions at the start.
The new Circuit of the Americas is very slippery off the racing line. Massa did a practice start from the even-numbered side of the grid on Saturday after qualifying and said there was less grip than would be normal in wet conditions.
If Vettel wins, Alonso needs to finish at least fourth to keep the championship alive. If Vettel is second, Alonso must be eighth or better to stay in the hunt. If Vettel is third, Alonso must be in the top 10.
Massa will drop from seventh to 12th on the grid.

Yeah, unbelievable what Ferrari are doing, clever but sly. So obvious what they are doing as well.
in other news. I'm hoping Hamilton can do one over Vettel but more importantly...

agreed! that race was fantastic!
Hamilton was flying out there today.
amazing wheel to wheel racing all round!
i lost track of the timings toward the end, but the pair of Hamilton and Vettel put 30 sec on Alonso. they were in a league of their own.

The last few races have been getting better and better. Drivers have been showing some serious cojones!
Hamiltons overtake over Vettel was something else! infact most of the racing even further down the field was also good. Looking forward to this race next year already.
Next up, Brasil. And in my opinion, Sao Paulo is one of the greatest tracks - so damn fast. Kinda upsetting the season is pretty much over though
edit: Never realised this is the first time that Alonso, Hamilton and Vettel have shared a podium. Fun fact.Last edited by BoyBettaKnow; 11-18-2012 at 23:48.

Perez not 'fit' for Mclaren
ouch! thats one hell of a start to a teamPerez, 22, has recently conducted a fitness test to which McLaren submit all their drivers and it proved he is a long way short of the physical condition of Hamilton and his team-mate Jenson Button.
