It needs to be delayed until next year to be honest. I can't see teams having the resources to scramble and get new suspension parts working in time - this is the problem about not having unlimited testing and other testing restrictions during the season!

So what do people think about the ban on FRIC? Hard to tell at this point in time but it does seem that the Merc's have lot a little bit of their advantage! Still think they will be run away winners this season but has tightened the pack up a little bit!

Looks like it wasn't his fault and a brake failure though.

Front right brake disc failure on twitter
    https://twitter.com/MercedesAMGF1

Disc to fail is rare and unusual.

2 brake failures, maybe its time to move to the more durable Carbon Industrie brakes

Seem to work well enough for Rosberg...

Might be too late for this event, but for future races he will have time to adjust to them.

That certainly was a scary moment and quite an impact too. So glad these cars are like proper cages now compared to yesteryear.

Rosberg's been using them and bar Canada he's been fine. Hamilton prefers the feel of the Brembo's, but they obviously aren't as durable as the CI brakes. Surely you would go for the ones that will get you to the en........................But this is Hamilton....

Its these sort of daft things that can effect the championship.....

It's not as simple as going "I'll use these brakes instead now". I have tried a variety of brake types myself and the difference can be quite extraordinary. Some brakes require a smoother application, another might require a harsh push, and another could require more pumping (like the old non-ABS days but not as much). It can completely change your driving style if you switch brake types so this is probably why he hasn't swapped out.

Unlucky not to get second in the end but nevertheless that was a fantastic race to watch. And again I have to say amazing from Bottas and Williams. If Williams continues this for next year then I can see them potentially challenging for the title.
