    I guess they want the driver to be doing the work figuring out those sort of things, but to me it just seems like ti makes it less competitive.

    IMHO, the radio crackdown is stupid.

    It's the same for everybody.....they might as well have everybody race on the same tyres at the same points in the race too.

    If a driver has an issue with the car, how is he supposed to know what to do? He's a race driver, there is a reason the guy he talks to is called an engineer, he knows the intricacies of the car, the driver is there to drive it as fast as possible.

    FIA can suck a nut, all they car about is how to increase the ratings (Race restarts from safety car next year say hi). I suppose the timing boards the teams still hold out are outlawed too?

    $#@!, they might as well make Formula 1 GP1 and be done with it. I hate that fat $#@!s in their suits get to make calls merely to fill their already full pockets.

    FIA are supposedly about safety....what happens if a driver burns up his discs? Who is the unlucky sole he's going to careen into? How is a team supposed to save the limited engines because of the FIA's imposed restrictions? The engine maps are what they are for a reason. It's to go as fast as possible within the bull$#@! restrictions the FIA already impose.

    The FIA half arse anything they do, the guys who work for the teams are all brilliant minds restricted by dumb $#@!s who can't do anything properly.

    And then you have this rubbish:

    "Lead to better tyres on road cars" is the line.....my tyres look nothing like that o_O

    they're your bog standard $#@! with side walls that look similar to the tyres the cars have now.
    The only cars who have wheels like these are performance cars...

    FIA must wanna help Pirelli break into that Bridgstone/Michelin market.


    Looking forward to this weekend though, Mercs will stand on top again and this should put them back to ~0.5-0.8 secs faster than the rest even in race trim.

    knew the RB would be close mainly due to the track, bit silly of them to think they have closed the gap to the mercs.
