Of course they could cure it, but the idea is not to. Its unrealistic for street racing with tons of traffic around to feel like they're driving on glass.

What's worse is using an American Muscle car as one of those drift cars. They were not designed for tight turns and super maneuverability for a reason. Or at least stripping it down is like torture to that car.

I thought it was okay, better than 2 fast 2 furious.
But there was way too much cgi used, the tunnel racing looked like crap because of it.

Yea the tunnel scenes were mad hollywood. I don't think anyone could drive that fast through some catacombs without wrecking fenders and quarter panels or just completely ricocheting.
However the story I thought was pretty good. It was the same director as in Tokyo. He did a good job bringing everyone back with this story. I'll def buy it on Blu Ray.
Speaking of Tokyo, did you all know the scene where homeboy drifts UP the parking ramp was actually real? I swore it was fake and impossible. I forget the name of the guy who did it, but I believe he's the drift king in Japan.

Just came back from seeing it, it was surprisingly quite good but the cars in it weren't all that compared to previous installments in my opinion >.<.

The cars are crap in all of them imo.
They show the speedo and they're doing 120mph
and the screen looks like its going 300mph

Agreed!
I hated the cars in this movie, apart from the Skyline don drove, and the STi he got later, all the other cars were just ugly (I just hate American cars and choose Import over muscle anytime!
)
Half the movie was showing them Up shifting but never downshifting, for some reason Americans think its cool to drive manual
. I Take a manual car over automatic any day, but manual is all over Europe and Africa aswell as Asia and the middle east, only North America's standard is Automatic.
The Tunnel scene's ruined the movie for me, I mean they made turns like i do in Wipeout and looked like they were going easily 500Kp/h!
IMO, the movie had some funny scenes, but the fact that they didn't even throw in an Audi R8 is just pathetic, the one porsche in the move was just there for show lol...
I give it a 6/10. Watch it in theatres only because it costs the same to rent

HOW DID I MISS THAT!!!!! +rep for posting!
Well, I said I don't like American muscle, i didn't say its not great because it has its good sides, im just not a fan
What I meant about thinking Automatic is standard is America including Canada, when you walk into a dealership or etc... majority are Automatic, driving manual is only by choice, auto is by trend. Sorry to generalize though, hope you get what I mean.

Not all cars have automatic as standard though.
