I am being deadly serious here....there must be a glitch because the only mines I explode are the ones that DO NOT show up on the mini map. Have never been REALLY into military fps games but BF3 is addictive. I'm getting the hang of it now, but i'm just rank 8ish :S I'll jump on tonight for some games

well ive put 48 hours into BF3 and i dont think i will be putting much more time into it, the enjoyment i got out of BFBC2 was so much more its unreal i mean its a nice looking game an all.
BUT I NEED TO HAVE FUN!!!!!!
and sadly this game is not giving me any fun

I think it's because I unlocked most of what I want. Jets are also completely unlocked.
So I'm now going back to hardcore mode because it's more challenging and actually slower-paced. Maybe you should try it.
HC mode would be perfect if they allowed spotting system...at least when I'm in an air vehicle...because it's unrealistic to not have that and makes jets useless for the most part.

I'm sorry that some of the BnW guys aren't enjoying BF3. I am loving it. I spent the whole of Sunday playing it and I have NEVER played any FPS a whole day let alone a military FPS. I am generally really happy with the whole package, the game looks great and plays great and has many of the little touches that appeal to me such as the animation when vaulting, and being able to go prone. I am not very good yet, I have played 8 hours and only just made rank 10 but I'm having a blast playing support class. I like support/medic roles in general and both are really cool on BF3. Now that I have at least a bit of stuff unlocked I want to start playing with a squad
I like playing conquest, and especially enjoy the challenge of C4ing tanks to death. Yesterday I was playing with C4 packed jeeps. Great fun!
