I'm about to start reading Moby Dick today. There's a bunch of older classic type books I'd like to read. If i try I might be able to get through a bunch this summer.

I just got finished reading a book by Phillip K. Dick called Martian Time Slip about an autistic boy being manipulated by a businessman on Mars who employs the help of a recovering paranoid schizophrenic for the purpose of predicting the future. It was only a 260-something page novel, and started out slow in the first 100 pages or so, but it began to pick itself up during the remainder of the story. I'm glad I read it. Dick focuses on themes like the nature of reality, which I could relate to in certain ways.
Now I'm off to read a book by Henry James (another author I'm reading for the first time) called The Turn of the Screw.
Currently playing? Skyrim (360). White Knight Chronicles (PS3). Majoras Mask (Wii). Final Fanasy VII (PS2). Just completed? Final Fantasy VI.

Has anyone here read the new addition to The Dark Tower series, The Wind Through The Keyhole?
I read the original 7 books some time back now and have just gotten around to grabbing this one. Was just fishing for some thoughts on it before I dive into it.

I'm reading the LOTR books. Only 100 pages in the first one. Thanks to university I have no time now to read, although I did finish like 7 books last month:
The Hunger Games Trilogy (EPIC)
The Fault in Our Stars (in my top two now)
Looking For Alaska
Paper Towns
Can't remember the other one

So I started The Wind Through The Keyhole, and it is great to dive back into this universe!
It is interesting so far. Takes place between The Wizard and Glass and The Wolves Of The Calla.
So far he's managed to keep the same kind of feel and flow with an all new back adventure of Rolands. Hoping it lives up.

I'm reading Boardwalk Empire. The book used as a basis for the HBO show with the same name. I'm a big fan of the show and the book is a great deep dive into the story.
Other opinions are available.

I assume you haven't watched the TV series?
Its not much, ONLY THE BEST THING I EVER SAW! I just texted a friend telling him how the TV show will take more than 6+ years to finish because the books aren't done yet and it'll be totally worth it
Seriously watch the show, there are 24 episodes out (12 per season)

Yeah, as Itachi said, it's a series of books (5 out now I believe, with more to go. I don't know if the author already has a set amount) in a medieval setting, and with magic (just a little, not overly used, like say, Harry Potter) and dragons about 5 or 6 different families fighting to be king/queen (hence the "throne")
Actually there's 20. It's 10 per season.

I just finished the maze runner series. The first two books are excellent, the third was kind of disappointing but overall a pretty good series.
It's funny that in this day in age people can steal as long as they have a reason too. Even if that reason is created by the thieves themselves.
