Well, I was looking at the Wii games annd I noticed theres about 7 or so games I am interested in.. Now, how does the Wii look on a HDTV? Also, for the $279.99 do they EVER add a game or something with it? Or do you gotta pay extra for that (In essense PAYING for the game.)
(Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess,
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption,
Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition,
Super Mario Galaxy,
Super Smash Bros: Brawl,
Super Paper Mario,
Plus the GC playback and Wiiware makes it a plus.)

The only game I've seen bundled is Wii Sports -- but I enjoy it a lot, so no complaints.
There's a ton of other games I've really enjoyed -- it is worth looking around for some of the more obscure games, like de Blob or Zack & Wiki.

Not ALL boxes look like that, some dont got the "Wii SportS Included"
AH, yeah I play it at my grandmas sometimes, its alright for a time killer. Is the small list of games above (in original post) - in your opinion - worth the $279.99 for someone who owns a PS3 and 360? (Not 100% sure if i want a Wii, im at about 75% - just wodnering if it'll bore me at some point (Hoping not within the first 6 - 12 months though xD))

Dunno about that exact list, but I certainly found it a good deal. There's a bunch of pretty fun cheap games for it, and some real beauties in wiiware.

No clue about DKC, but I thought I heard rumors of Earthbound for Virtual Console. (A distinction is made; old titles re-released are Virtual Console, new games that didn't exist on anything else are WiiWare. WiiWare games usually have better graphics, but can cost more.)
I've posted tons of lists of games I thought were a bunch of fun on the Wii. Zack&Wiki's great, deBlob gets good reviews, I liked No More Heroes. Endless Ocean was fun, although it's not a traditional game.

I'm glad that you are looking into getting a Wii, but be advised, it definately does not have the same entertainment value that your PS3 and 360 have.
My brother and my parents bought one a while ago, and although it is fun when you first get it, it doesn't really last if you are used to the other consoles.
All of this is my sole opinion though, and I am not trying to get you to not buy one or insult you or your preferences in consoles. I am just explaining my experiences with the Wii.
PS - Get Brawl. It's one of the few wii games I like. Also, get TP, so you can hack your Wii.

No worries, I want peoples opinions on thhe "Fun factor" before I throw down $317 on it. Lol
No More Heroes and Zack&Wiki look pretty good, though im not into many "Kiddy" looking games for some reason - which is why I only got about 7-11 or so games Im really interested in. Lol

Got till the 14th to make up my mind (Found one for $249.99 though not sure i get Wii Sports :/)
Anyone know if Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is a FUN game that you dont have to fling your arms around like an idiot? (I was gonna see about borrowing but by then the deal may be over. :/) - May go pick her up today after my doctors appointment. :P

I think it's fun, and I do not know of ANY games that require you to "fling your arms around". Not any at all.
And seriously, I do not know of ANY retail-sold Wii systems outside of Japan without Wii Sports. As long as it's a new retail system, I am pretty sure it has Wii Sports.

Aren't they releasing an HD Wii at some stage?
I can read your thoughts.

Twilight Princess is worth every penny. It's full of classic Zelda goodness which you can't go far wrong with. As for the controls, they're wonderfully intuitive. I don't think you'd struggle getting used to them for any Wii game.
With regards to 3rd party games, you're right to pick out No More Heroes and Zack & Wiki. They're both original and great fun. Resident Evil 4 is also a top game, made all the better by the Wii controls which suit the title best. It's certainly the definitive version of the game.

Thanks for your opinion.
Wait, they might? Ah geez, now I dont know what to do.
Sure its only FUD? x.x
EDIT: Just looked it up, apparantly "Wii HD" is nintendos "Next Console"
RE4 on GC is awesome, always meant to get the Ps2 version for the extra stuff - but I figured if I get a Wii might as well go for that version. It'll be a more different experience, I figure.
Hopefully if I can find a ride, I'll have my Wii tonight. ^^

See the response above -- the entire point of it is to make people hesitate about buying a Wii.
There's no reason for the hypothetical "HD Wii" to exist. No one's going to remake games with higher resolution textures for it, and no one cares; the system's doing just fine selling to millions of people with HD displays who don't care, just as millions of people with HD displays are buying DVDs and watching them happily. It doesn't matter. SD resolution is good enough for entertainment.

No. PS3/360 users trying to make people not get a Wii by telling them there'll be an HD version which will presumably be way better.
It's always come from people who dislike the Wii and like the other consoles -- you can tell, because from the Nintendo perspective, there's no reason for the hypothetical "HD Wii". It only makes sense if you assume that polygon count is what sells consoles -- a mistake Nintendo hasn't made in a long time. So it's never come from Nintendo, or from anything related to Nintendo. It's just like the perennial rumors of a new PS3 "any day now" with better specs -- the rumor exists only to discourage people from buying something they'd probably be happy with.
