Incase people didnt know. Pre-order with Gamestation (UK) or Gamestop(US) and you get a pre-order demo code, i hate the idea myself, it should just be on Live!
Anyways you can get the demo content, burn it to a disc and play it on an un-modded 360. I have links to the demo content and if someone gives the green light that i can post them i will. Its perfectly legal by the way.
If you're resourceful enough yourself to find the demo heres a tut how to get it working for definite: http://digiex.net/guides-tutorials/1...g-imgburn.html
I used the above tut and it works flawlessly, although loads a little slow.
Onto the demo. Its much different from FNR3, the main difference is that there is no counteringIf you liked to counter with philly shell your outta luck but the new system is tougher to counter and yet more fun. The pace is ramped up a lot and knockdowns may be very tough to achieve, it might actually be a boxing game were going 10 rounds is a possiblity.
You can play as Pacquiao and Hatton, they could have picked more varied boxers as these two fight very similiar so you can't really tell the difference between reach and inside fighting, Ali and Tyson would have been nice.
When i finally managed to get a KO the moment is so much better now, the slow motion stun punch is no longer there but you can tell you've hurt your opponent, finally decking them is so much more satisfying, their bodies twist with the force of your punch making it so much more realistic, its still not as satisfying as grinning at your friend who's now out cold but its getting to be better than it. You can also save your favourite moments to EA's server, similiar to how SKATE's replay system is. I got a 6 punch combo on Pacquiao straight to a brutal uppercut knocking him out but i got an error when uploading
Either way its shaping up to be great game, better than FNR3.

Countering is just as easy as soon as you learn how it works. Timing and angles are much more important than it was before. I've gotten several one shot knockdowns as well. The game feels very dynamic due to the fact that it's all physics based. The best collision detection in a game ever by a LONG shot. This is how boxing on a console should feel. I'm playing the demo on PS3 btw.
