Hey guys, just wanted to give you an update on my first video review. It's taking a lot longer than I had anticipated. I'm working with some enormous files, trying to compress them, trying to edit, yada yada... long story short is this is a big project, but I'm hoping the process will help me figure out how to do it easier so it just becomes simple.

FYI - using Hauppauge HD PVR, Vegas Pro 8 - comp has quad-core 2.6 or so, 4 gigs, decent video card, decent sound card.
10 minutes of video = about 1 gig.

I'm probably going to convert the files right away to .wmv or .mp4 so they are easier to work with.

I have Final Cut Pro, Premiere, Combustion 4.0, and Abode After Effects for video editing.
