Been waiting for a GSP/Silva fight for 3 years now.

That would be an amazing fight. Dana White NEEDS to make it happen.

GSP doesn't want to. At least Anderson is man enough to admit when someone can beat him instead of making excuses.

Silva vs. GSP would be great, but Silva vs. Jones is more appealing to me.

Speaking of Silva, does anyone have him losing this weekend? A lot of people are picking Weidman for the upset but I just can't see it.

I have Weidman winning on Saturday. The kid is very strong, very explosive, and has an amazing ground game.

This is going to be Silva's toughest fight of his career.

Im scared for the GOAT. I really was hoping that CW would never get that shot. As he is the only legit threat to the GOAT right now.

    Im really worried!

All the great ones lose at some point, but I don't think it is Silvas time yet. I'd be surprised if he loses to Weidman.

Glover is a big threat! That dude has some serious power, and he is on a tear right now.

Unfortunately, I think Rashad is getting another title shot. Rashad looked like $#@! in the Hendo fight...

I think Weidman has the best chance of all of them so far. TBH, out of his last 5-6 fights, every one of them I thought would beat the Spider. The most dangerous of them all I thought would be Vitor - and we all know how that turned out.

The thing about Weidman's grappling threat over Chael's - is that his jits is actually handy. He's stood his own with Galvao, so I'm not sure that even if Weidman gets ADnerson down, that Silva would be able to pull off that last minute miracle.

But as a Silva fanboy - I want him to Matrix Weidman if he can.

Which will happen if Weidman is cautious -what he needs to do is not give Anderson's computer for a brain to suss him out. He just needs to be relentless with takedowns and grind him up against the cage - then go for the finish (last part is important because if he tries to Jon Fitch his way into beating a legend, there'll be backlash).

    #IndieStation4 and proud of it.

That $#@! was too dope. I had Silva winning, but after I saw him not shake the boys hand after the fight started, I knew he was going to win. (Mind you, I don't watch UFC like that. So I didn't know he did this all the time lol) I was like, if he keeps playing with you and having his guard down, ROCK HIS BIG ASS lol. What happens? BAM! AND DOWN HE GOES!

I was at Hooters watching that $#@! with my peoples. Too $#@!in' funny. You couldn't make that $#@! up. He got exactly what he deserved. Dana White wasn't pleased I'm sure, but I know he had to chuckle when he got hit with a 2-piece and a biscuit.

Anderson's ass need to stop bluffin' and move up in class to fight Bones. And for the record, I'd have Bones winning the fight.

Was nice seeing his smug ass get beat down.
"The biggest adversary in our life is ourselves. We are what we are, in a sense, because of the dominating thoughts we allow to gather in our head. All concepts of self-improvement, all actions and paths we take, relate solely to our abstract image of ourselves. Life is limited only by how we really see ourselves and feel about our being. A great deal of pure self-knowledge and inner understanding allows us to lay an all-important foundation for the structure of our life from which we can perceive and take the right avenues.”

This is a depressing day for me. I'll give Weidman credit though. I will say something in Silva's defense. I believe Silva wasn't even trying to be honest. It almost seems like he wanted to lose his belt. I have watched so many of his interviews and everyone holds to a certain standard and I think that's a lot of pressure. I know I sound like a Silva bandwagon boy but I believe he's the most genuine guy out there. Everyone Is calling him smug, $#@!y, and they say he needed a defeat. This Is a guy that never argues compared to his adversaries. He just goes In the ring and does It. This Is also a guy that was poor as f**k but he told his wife that she was gonna have everything. A car, a nice house, and he stood my his family. After the fight he repeated himself. As for the taunting in the ring, I think It's a good physcological game. Mess with your adversary.Drop your guard and let them make a mistake. Even Forrest has said this an Interview and I agree with him. Right beside Anderson Is Silva Is Forrest in honesty and genuine as It gets. I just think he went too far this time. Anyways, I think Weidman is gonna hold that title for awhile.

    Wow....

AS a big Anderson fan, Weidman is deserved Champ right now. Both classy dudes though. Anderson for shutting down rematch talks and just saying Chris is the man now. And for Chris to respond that way after being taunted.

Respect to both - one the GOAT, and the other a potential one.

Weidman looks to be genuinely humble super athlete as opposed to the (seemingly) fake persona that JBJ has.

    Superfight down the road?

I honestly thought that Silva was going to lure Weidman in as he's done over the past seven years to the others.

Great fight. Next to go down, GSP I hope.

If anyone that I want to go down next it's GSP.

Anderson and JBJ at least attack or try to lure into attacking. And Cain just demolishes guys; same for Aldo (for the most part).

This is not soccer - don't try to play for position. Hendricks via KTFO.

$#@! Weidman, only won cos Silva couldnt be bothered, he just handed the title and the rematch is probably gonna be a huge payday for both!

Theres a difference between throwing the fight and just acting like a clown and paying the price for it. Anderson definitely did the latter.

Makes the sport look pretty bad, in my opinion. People pay a lot of money to watch the event and he goes in there acting the way he did. Hopefully gives him some sort of reality check and he comes back to become the dominant fighter he was at one point.

That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard lol.

Title holders make hundreds of thousands of dollars per fight. Please enlighten me as to why Silva would graciously throw this fight? It certainly would not be for the money. And to throw it after he signed a 10 fight contract? lol I do not think so.

Chris Weidman is an extremely talented fighter, and I called it that he would win this fight.

I guess we can all say that Forrest Griffin threw the fight when Silva knocked him out too. lol Chael Sonnen threw his fight as well. *wink

This Is how I feel. I don't think he threw the fight, I just think he was being a showboat too much. I still think this feels bizarre as well. Kinda surreal. I want to see him fight this guy then knock him out and next GSP. Take him out then retire. :P

I don't in any way thoguht Silva threw the fight. But do I think (based on his interview with Joe) that he probably didn't care (or at least a good part of him didn't) if he won or lost the belt.

    That part I can buy.

lol as big a fan as I am of AS, I don't think anyone in MMA throws fights. This ain't boxing...
