Just curious why is it taking Sony so long to upgrade their PSN service? I mean xbox has another BIG update coming and we still can't have private chat. Sony seems to be satisfied just playing catch up. Just had to vent. LATER

If you're going to vent at least complain about something decent, if you're talking about no chats during games, i think someone here said xbox has a patent on that(could of been music) so the devs of a game would have to include it in their game, not as a system. Besides that, if you want the EXACT same features as an xbox, buy an xbox.

just be paitent buddy. good things come in time. you wouldn't want sony to rush a FW thats not complete then they would have to run another to fix it. just be paitent.

Exactly. The PS3 has had more updates over the year than Microsoft has. The PSN and XMB were complete garbage when the PS3 first came out. I used to hate my PS3 lol. Now I love it and she loves me. Her name is Sonya........

anyways i think the PSN needs a overhaul. Its good but it's dull and boring if you ask me. someone please say "no one asked" . I just cant stop thinking of Home XMB integration. like see your avatar in the background and just start walking around when ever you want. then just launch a game whenever you want. Stuff like that i mean most of you won't care but the fact that it possible will satisfy many, and give people something new to complain about, strangely thats some peoples favorite part.

Great posting all of you. I like it the way it is now. I use PSN just for online gaming. I dont care if I dont have w/e chatting and what not. Just game. I game with my real life friends. If you want to chat use the phone or Msn. If you dont play with real life friends, then get some.

Sounds like you want it exactly like the 360 Dashboard? Ummm Ill pass on that, I don't like see a cartoon character on my screen and all that extra crap. Maybe we can have full commercials and advertisements now to? That would be AWESOME!!!

The PSN isn't perfect and could still add some sweet features, but from what it was to what it is now is not really anything to complain about.
