Download issues

I'm trying to download the call of duty 5 map pack, and everytime i try, it gets to 65% downloaded and just stops! It's infuriating!

i can download anything else from PSN, but the map pack just does not work.

can anybody help?

For some reason this forum isnt letting me edit, but it just sits there saying

65% Pending

WHY is it doing this?!?

Press triangle, press pause than press triangle again and press resume. I had that too once but it was the Home Beta. That fixed it for me..

Check your firewall isnt blocking the download or something

are you wired or wireless?

when my ps3 was wireless, I had a problem like this downloading game updates. Heavenly sword was the worst, it would get to 10% and just stop for like 5 mins, then say there was an error. tried a wired connection, it worked and I haven't gone back since.

I just let it sit on pending for 2 hours before canceling the download and turning off the ps3.

just called sony support and they were of NO help at all.

^It MUST be your ISP/firewall blocking a packet of data which comes in at 65%, its the only viable option why it is doing that

Try canceling it then re download it.

Maybe that will work

Heres the thing though, I've downloaded it before. I restored my ps3 due to some firmware issues. In the past, it downloaded fine!

Nope, 19 gigs free.

I just tried restoring my ps3 yet again and trying to re download it.

Stopped at 65% AGAIN!

Maybe you have a monthly download limit with your ISP? Also dont forget that if you are doing download in background playing a game be it on or offline will pause the download. Other than that it sounds like you have tried everything. Check in "game data" and delete anything that looks like its associated with the map pack and re try as the data may be corrupt preventing it to continue.
