How do you change the dpi? or determine what the current dpi is. the reason i ask is i am doing a couple projects and i am thinking that one day i may print them out, and i understand you need to have a really high dpi for it to turn out crisp. thanks fo rthe help and +rep to anyone with a legit answer.

When you make a new file/ image...
File > New >
Then you change the DPI in the highlighted area.

I dont think you can change the DPI of an image if its already made...

When you scan your picture , obviously a box will come up showing you the details of the scan , preview scan , etc. etc.
Somewhere it should say scan settings , then in there there should be a drop down box of some sort showing you the available settings.
If your printing something i reccommend you scan at 300 DPI.

I use 300dpi whenever I can, but for making sigs and avvys that will never be printed. I drop it down to internet resolution 72dpi. keeps the file size low.
Kyaw, you can adjust the resolution of a made image as long as it's unlocked. If you add me on PSN, please say you are from here!

All you have to remember is 72dpi for Internet and 300dpi for print
Trophy-licious!
