Lol, no way, dude. It was a very Lost-ish moment; Peter jumping through time. That's why it was such a great twist.

The season finale is going to be amazing, though. I can't wait to see what happens next!

Wow, what an incredible ending to the third season. I'd even go as far as to say it was the best episode of the season! "The Day We Died"... Peter served his purpose, literally bringing the two universes together, and then he disappears with the Observers bringing up the fact that he never existed! And from what I'm hearing, the fourth season is going to be all about Peter. Discuss, goddammit, discuss!!!

It's not really the same thing, but I get this Half-Life vibe... the whole grander purpose/existentialism thing with Freeman and the G-man.

I'm a sucker for sci-fi and philosophy... combining them... very nice!

Holy ****!! what a great ep that was....i really hope fringe doesn't get drawn out into further seasons after 4. some things are better left alone after so many seasons, as to remember how great the program was as a whole. Walter bishop is my favourite..character is so likeable, and the actor is fantastic...btw, i just wanted to say...olivia dunham...hubba hubba...

I don't think we'll have to worry about that. It's not like the ratings were good enough throughout the third season to change what day and time the show airs. There's also the other show J.J. Abrams is working on, Alcatraz, that FOX picked up for a pilot episode a while back. I think it's pretty likely that the fourth season will be the last season for Fringe.

While I didn't think the case for this particular episode was very exciting, I'm really curious to see what the writers are planning on doing with Peter Bishop.

I think the season finale to season 3 was a tad misleading... from what I gathered from this premiere, it wasn't that Peter never existed but rather that they're trying to rewrite history so it appears he's never been born.

Thoroughly enjoying Season 4 at the moment, the whole Peter never existed but is still imprinted deep within everyone is really cool. The fact that both universes are merged is uber awesome too, love seeing the interactions between everyone.

Hmmmm, after seeing episode 1 & 2 of season 4, fringe is losing me, im not interested in it without Peter and i dont like linclon being a permanment fixture now.

Too expensive to produce in relation to what Fox makes from it. But in the full interview with Abrams he sounds more hopeful for a season 5 than the blog I linked to seemed to make it sound like. http://tv.ign.com/articles/121/1216068p1.html

If Fox doesn't want to keep Fringe I really hope they can move somewhere else but I doubt it.
