Problem with PS3 Slim!!!!

Just got the new PS3 Slim and i cannot connect to the damn Internet.

Using wired connection with automatic settings just like on my FAT PS3, which connects perfectly.

What the hell am i doing wrong here??!!??

I see some other people have the same issue but nobody really tells how to fix it.

Help Pleaseeeee

Fixed it. As im running a cable connection i had to restart the whole cable modem and all. This actually fixed it for me.

How have you got it set up?

EDIT: Yeah always switch off modem/router/PC for a minute at the plug if theres a connection problem.

The router probably tried giving the slim the same IP address that it did the chunky but because it's a different console the MAC address is different so it'll be causing issues.

The reboot will fix it as it's resets IP address give outs.
