It's better than iTunes 8, that's for sure, but it's still not the best multimedia player in the market. Although, I like it.

There not that slow for me, anyways I like the iTunes 9 so far. Then again I haven't had any problems with any of the other versions as well.

Can't really say i have noticed any differences.
Except the player is slightly more slick (the timer at the top)
and the new wireless mode thing.
But i won't benefit from that; as i don't have an itunes account.

I'm still faced with the problem of media sharing to my PS3.
WMP and PS3 won't find each other

, they used too... but i deleted if off my PS3, and they can't find each other any more.

Yesterday when I DL'd the update, I was going to listen to some music on it, I click the pogramme and it's loading, I wait like 10 seconds before I was like is my laptop lagging? I click on Windows Media Player and it opened instantly, after 1 second from that, Quicktime finally opened.

That's when it reassured me that iTunes and Quicktime are the slowest thing ever.

It's funny, iTunes and Quicktime are so lightweight and amazing on the mac (with Cocoa and Quicktime X+ perian).. but on windows its just a pain.

That really should be the only explanation for this crazy popularity of iTunes and Quicktime when they're the slowest media programme.

It only works good on it's own brand of laptops.

one thingi notice is now when viewing music as albums showing the album artwork the backround is now white instead of black. i liked the black backround

I didnt know people still used Winamp. lol. That program is ancient. I was using that back in the day of Napster.

What can they really add to a music player?
I won't bother downloadling this just yet, but will do at some point.
I'm getting annoyed as everyone always feels the need to update stuff, so much so that they change things just for the sake of it and make it worse.
