But Forza 3 does look good. If GT5 doesn't live up to the hype I might find myself buying a 360 just for it.

I'm more excited for the other two top racers actually. I was really high on Forza until I really got a look at Shift and my lord that game just seems to capture the thrill of racing better than the other two titles. Though if I do have spare cash lying around (Which for once I actually expect to) I will pick up Forza 3.

Yeah definitely, Forza 2 was a great game and 3 looks to be even better.

I've been noticing that as well. Shift also seems to be the only game that takes into account that cars have shocks and rides rattle, bump, vibrate... Each of the 3 have awesome pluses that make each one worthy of your money.

Shift: Maybe over the top, but they just 'get' what it's like to be on surfaces like grass and so on. Forza can talk tire pressure this, and physics that, but this game gives you the actual feeling of driving IMO better than GT5 and Forza 3 by quite a bit.

Forza 3: Awesome customizations, great new interface, damage on ALL cars. Just a deeeeeep game with a LOT of polish.

GT5: Most cars, best visuals, time of day changes, Rally, Nascar, HEAD freaking tracking!

This MIGHT be the one game that makes me buy a Xbox360 in the coming months. Heck, The upcoming GT5 made me buy a PS3 just a couple weeks ago.

Just watch each game in the co.ckpit view when they get slightly off the track. Like in real life, Shift gives you the vibrations and bumps and loss of traction you would get in real life. the co.ckpit rattles and so on. It's really awesome. I've also seen a load of Forza 3 and now some GT5. IMO, they just don't capture that feeling like shift does.

You gotta be kidding me. Shift isn't a real sim, the handling is more PGR than GT or Forza. They tried to make the driving experience as visceral as possible but in terms of physics and realism it isn't even close.

im really excited for F3...granted deep down im a PS3 fanboy so GT5 is where my heart is but this game looks great!...im especially looking forward to just messing around with paint schemes and modding....can't wait for the game to drop...will finally get some real use out of my 360!

this will be the first Forza ive actually owned myself...didn't play much of F2 AT ALL...so im pretty excited to see what all the fuss is about...
