Saw a Bugatti Veyron parked in a shell garage near me. Loads of people were taking pictures of it. I've seen at least 3 Aston Martin Db9's this summer. A Ferarri but I don't know what the name is, a Lambo pass my house. And probably more. In Wales too, I don't get it.

Bugatti Veyron in a Texaco garage, I used to live literally across the road from it, I took a pic on my old phone but never transferred it before I trashed it :\

Audi R8.
Seens lots of Lambos and Ferraris, but the R8 is so much more elegant.I once ate a dirty sock...don't tell anyone.

I've seen a couple Aston Martin DB9s (both Coupé and a Hardtop), a Lamborghini Murcielago and an Audi R8. I'd have to say the DB9s were my favourite. I love them.

I've seen a few Lambo's driving around the city.
I was driving along a road when a Lambo pulled out into the same lane as me. He must've floored it 'cause the back end kicked out. It was awesome! LoL
I wanted to get close to the Lambo to check it out and my dad's (who's in the passenger seat) is yelling at me to not get too close 'cause he doesn't want me to hit it.

I've seen an R8 parked on the road outside my office in Trafford because the owner was too cheap to pay for match day parking

I've done the Traffic light GP with a 911 Turbo.
Saw a Nissan GTR last week. They look much better in the flesh than picture or video. Not a pretty car but it looks purposeful.

I was wondering where this thread went

Well thats somewhat expected, the car is pretty damn pricey. I'll probably never see one since I'm american though
Anyways, I saw a car today. My favorite car. I almost drooled when i saw it today. I was playing Need for Speed Shift only a few hours before, racing in my Lotus Exige S, and whaddya know, I saw one a few blocks from my house. The guy did a hard take off when the light hit green. It was awesome.

Not the one I saw, but same color. Looked beautiful.
EDIT: New pic just to show its beauty.

I would give up a testicle to drive a Gallardo or Murcielago. I suspect Audi's influence on Lambo may have tamed their rides a little.
In my previous post I mentioned dragging the Diablo in my Hyundia. On that same road a couple of years later I saw a DB9 absolutely destroy a 360 Modena, I tried my best to keep up with them so I could watch but I was in a Magna wagon
. The Ferrari would make up a little distance on the roundabouts but the Aston would just take off on the straights. The Aston sounded a hell of a lot nicer aswell.

The Audi ownership really stepped up the quality. Some of the products pre-Audi were built like kit cars, I mean just terrible QC/QA. A friend of mine as kind of a side enterprise to his main restoration business does some pre-sales assessments and did it for a couple of 80's Lambos and he was horrified at the poor quality (the "kit car" comment I actually got from him). I'm talking mismatched fasteners, paint overspray, just incredibly WTF build issues.
The current crop of cars are an order-of-magnitude improved, I mean, they're not even like they're from the same manufacturer. If you sit in a Gallardo, and kind of squint it definitely feels a good bit like a modern Audi S6, but in my mind, that's only a huge positive (I'm a big fan of Audi
).
The Merc has a much more unique interior (and you get more of an exotic sense of the car around you). For the record, I haven't actually driven a Merc, only sat in a few, and, *ahem*, driven briskly next to one on a closed, private road (I was in my little Toyota, he was surprised
)
A guy at the corner of my neighborhood had one - I stopped and talked to him one day, he was going to do this poker run we had planned, and the whole family just disappeared. The car went up for sale, their boat, harley, poof. I know that's off topic, but it _was_weird_.

Mercedes SLR McLaren
I was driving down the road and it pulled out of a neighborhood near my house. Drove behind it for a few blocks until I had to turn off. It's weird driving behind an automobile worth more than your house, several times over.
