So I got this two weeks ago

After I buy a blu-ray, I usually go to http://www.bluray.com to read the review for it that talks about the video and audio qaulity (it even has screen caps to show) and when I typed in Total Recall, I saw another version of it dated July 31st, 2012. So I'm thinking ok, wtf just happened? Did I waste 20 mins of my time and $5 of my money? Well spank my ass and call me Sally. I return the movie and I buy this one instead.

It's a bit more pricey, but it has some vital special features that were missing from that first BD version and most importantly, the new transfer looks AMAZING. The website I go to gave it a 5/5 for video quality and that means that it's one of those "best-looking blu-rays of the year" kinda thing. And I'm also big on special features. When I buy a new movie, I always look on the back to see the special features. If it's got crap like just a trailer for it, I consider not buying it, unless there is no other version of it and it's a movie I really like, but those exceptions are RARE. You see, I have to get the bang for my buck. A movie must have special features on its DVD/BD release, otherwise it's not worth more than $5-10 to me. But this re-release had the whole package.
(The Blade trilogy also had a re-release this year with a better transfer and new and old special features that were not present in the first version BD release, but it's only available in the US. Fuck you, distributors)
And another thing, I have OCD when it comes to collecting things. So this movie has a slip-on cover, I got it at HMV, so the dipshits there remove slip-on covers, (but Walmart was supposed to have it, only it cost a few bucks more, except I didn't see it anywhere). I like those things a lot. They style my blu-ray and protect it. I always try to negotiate paying for a slip-on cover at retail stores but they won't let me, I have to buy the whole movie again. I'm already missing the cover for Fight Club, and that makes me angry. A slip-on cover is beautiful, a majestic piece of cardboard, molded with ink and some plastic wax on it that fits onto the blu-ray casing nice and easy, like a condom on a HEY WHADDAYA KNOW! But that's just me and my OCD.
I'm fuckin' weird.

For jogging and working out:

"When I was 12, I milked my eel into a pot of turtle stew. I flogged the one-eyed snake, I skinned my sausage. I made the bald man cry into the turtle stew, which I believe my sister ate. At least I hope she did."

Any self-respecting gamer has seen this movie or at the very least, has heard of it. This had terrible reviews, but it has a cult following. I must have watched this movie 25 times in one week. This is the movie that almost got me into game design/game programming. Unfortunately, there is no blu-ray version of it nor are there plans to make one. But it's one awesome movie.
Smells really good and looks really cool!
