A PS1 can be seen in this movie. The movie is set in 1991 and the first PS1 model was made in 1994.In one scene, Kevin burns a CD to play Marv's voice back at Vera, when in reality, he would have used an audio cassette, because this movie takes place in the 1991, and burnable CDs were not released to the public until the late 1990s.Also:Design of the things in 90s was usually edgy (as cars) not round. The whole movie is just mix of old and new items (some of them are not even from 90s). New stuff: PC flat screen, cell phone, game console controller and steering wheel, kicker, Hi-Fi mini-system, AV Receiver under the gaming center, computer keyboard next to his bed, the PC is way too fast (286 or 386 that time).
Daniel Stern, who played Marv in the first two films, was approached to reprise his role in this one. Stern quickly declined, calling it "an insult, total garbage."

Home Alone 1 and 2 were the best, the followers were kinda meh if not horrible compared to the previous ones.
