It's basically them promoting the "software" base of something that has been around for consumers for a long time now. It is definitely good for those consumers that are looking for that kind of performance, that will automatically adjust to the most used apps, etc. It isn't new though, just new for apply to promote the "feature".

Right, I remember that now! Fusion isn't a hybrid HDD but the software managing the SSD and HDD.
I thought there was some similar functionality in the older iMacs as well? I guess I was mistaken. Didn't know you had to chose manually what to have in the SSD and what in the HDD.
So in reality the hardware configuration is more or less the same as last year's. A HDD and an SSD. The only new here is the Fusion software.

Got some hands on time with a iPad Mini today. Stunning device, and the build quality is outstanding. It is simply a joy to have in your hands.

Its a shame that the iPod Touch 5G has only an A5 and 512 mbs RAM.

I don't like the width of the mini. Thought its have some updated specs instead of now two generations behind.

If it fits in the iPhone 5, surely those engineers could fit them in the iPad mini.

I quite like the mini. My friend bought one and it feels so much more comfortable to use than my iPad 3. It doesn't hurt the wrist when holding it. The thing is just so thin and so light it's unreal.

The size makes sense... The specs don't. Kinda win/lose.
The majority of users don't look at specs.

The ipod touch is already overpriced as it is so why not add better hardware.

oh right, so now you know what every professional needs? If your doing CAD/CAM work then yeah, a beast PC is needed... I don't think every professional needs a beast PC. As I said, there are reasons why people use Macs over a traditional PC otherwise they wouldn't be everywhere. For example, where I work, the communication and design department has over 20 iMacs and not a single PC. Kind of throws your statement about real professionals out of the window.
I'm not arguing that Apple products are often overpriced for the hardware you get inside of them because they are, the same way Alienware are guilty of overcharging for lesser parts on PC's however to claim that real professionals only use beast PC's is very shortsighted on your behalf.
There are times when a PC is better and there are times where a Mac is better. As I said - there are reasons why so many professionals decide to use a Mac over a PC.
