I know a lot of professionals who uses set ups with no apple devices at all and those include professional car designers, video animators, graphic designers, digital artists etc.

But that doesn't mean that professionals don't use Apple products. You can't seem to grasp that it isn't all about power, not everyone needs or wants to use a Windows product. That doesn't mean your wrong, as you said you know professionals that don't use Apple but i know professionals that do use Apple.
My main gripe is with your statement that real professionals don't use Apple, when that is clearly wrong.I Like Games.

Lets just agree on that Professionals use both MAC and PC, however in most cases PCs are being used if high end power is required and in professional categories high end hardware which provides very good performance is a big requirement. In the music category some professionals use Macs for a cleaner and more simple interface and look.
Thats logic but the price and the hardware ratio is the problem in Apple products. With the amount of money a high end imac costs you can buy a pc with 3x times better hardware for the same price. You can easily build yourself for 800$ a pc with same specs as a 2500$ high end imac.Last edited by Cybertox; 11-12-2012 at 18:44.

I didnt know that overpriced hardware and slow software is considered an ecosystem.
Believe me guys i dont hate apple and i have many apple devices and a mac at home but there is nothing attractive in their products excluding the design. Mac computers have a very nice design, probably the best one but their hardware is awful. Same with the software. It has a very clean and nice looking interface and its also very simple to use but its slow in terms of performance.Last edited by Cybertox; 11-13-2012 at 09:53.

Same here.... I like the design, and it just works. I have dislikes, but that's with both sides of the fence. If someone could merge iPhone with Andriod, I'd love it to death lol. Once I can jailbreak my iPhone 5, my widgets and customizations will be there again, and I"ll be a super happy camper.

That's a hard choice for me. I know I wouldn't get a Nexus 10 just because my hatred towards Google for the Nexus 7 debacle lol. I'd hope their manufacturing and QA has improved since the Nexus 7 because I'd hate to buy another product that was subject to the same defects as the Nexus 7, screen lift to be precise. Price wise, Nexus 10. Design, quality, iPad. If you leave those two things out, whichever has the content that is more to your usage, I'd go there.

Honestly I'd wait till next year to see how things progress for Android tablets and any other developments in the tablet space.
But if I had to buy a tablet this year, and I was looking at full size options, I would take a good look at the Surface RT. And I'm not sure if this will apply to the UK, but it seems MS may be allowing for some serious discounts on their products in the next several weeks.

Apple finally has some decent competition. Surface and Nexus 10 both look awesome, however I have seen some nasty lag on the nexus 10 when it comes to software optimization
Off topic: Nexus 4 sold out yesterday without even letting me order. C'mon google, I was waiting for weeks
