Jesus, I wouldn't wait for the s4. You'll never end up with a phone. Then you'll say might just wait for the note 3, see what it brings.
The s3 is the top phone right now, the note 2 will be a bigger beast compared to it and s-pen. I'm trading my s3 for the note2.
If you're looking for a galaxy phone and like bigger screens then def get the note 2.

Sony's Xperia T is out now in the UK. I hope it sells well, it looks like a nice phone.

So far my SONY Experia U has lasted 3days with 40% battery left. I have used it here and there for facebook and msn, just when I'm done I turn those apps and services off and the phone does well in stand by.

I think the Experia T looks ugly. The light strip on the S was original and really neat like lights in a nightclub where ever you go.

Nah. I know what i like and what i'm looking for. The s3 isn't enough of a leap from the s2 for me. I neither need or want all the software bollocks that comes with it ( svoice blah blah blah) and i just don't like its looks. I buy samsung because they are easy to hack and modify ...i'm very happy with the s2 so can easily wait.

Personally i dont think the new Xperia is that much of an upgarde from the Xperia S. Cant see the point of it, but hey it does look nice.

MIUI if you're feeling iPhon-ey or if you want to try more alternative themes (you can even make your phone a Windows phone with a good combo of MIUI and the Launcher 7 app).

debating between the s3 and the iphone 5... but I hesitate to buy a phone that is 3 months old....

or... depending on how ICS turns out on my current phone... htc thunderbolt... maybe wait until the s4 comes out...

S3. I have one myself and it's amazing.. I'd say it compares in almost every way favorably to the iPhone 5. Oh, and it has a map app that actually works.

Why get the S3:
1. Android (well, for me anyway)
2. 2x RAM of iPhone 5 (2GB)
3. Bigger screen
4. Larger resolution
5. Superior front facing camera (and identical megapixel back facing)
6 .Google Maps with turn by turn.
7. The anodized aluminum of the iPhone5 has been shown to crack and flake off. This obviously isn't an issue with the Galaxy S3.


As for the CPU, its hard to tell. In alot of tests the S3 beats the iPhone5 where raw CPU strength is measured. But the iPhone5 takes the cake when it comes to memory bandwidth (basically, how fast its memory is). Then again the S3 has like twice as much of it so whatever.

I have several friends with the s3 now... the phone looks awesome for all the reasons you listed and more.

And since I have verizon... the iphone is on the outz b/c it can't do simultaneous voice and data. Which is bush league.

Again- primary concern is getting a phone "so late" in its life... in the past, not getting the latest and greatest meant that by the end of your contract... your phone was limping to the finish... hence my pondering about waiting for the s4 to come out...

... and just to show how much am over thinking this... its rumored that the s4 will have a 5" screen... which I personally feel is too large... so i would irritated if I waited ~9 months and that was the case

Picked up a rear shell for my Experia U, dropped my phone well proper today and it still works without a scratch too.
It looks like with moderate data / facebook / msn I can suck 3 full days out of it and still have 30% charge.
I picked up the SONY 2,000mha cycle energy usb battery just in case and keep it in my work bag.

yeah... something about CDMA networks (verizon 3G)... Apple didn't want to put the necessary antenna in the phone... probably to save battery life

After using my Sony Ericsson Satio for about 2 years, I've finally made the jump and got ordered the Xperia T. Decided not to go for the s3, it's kind of too big and I don't really like that blueish tint on the AMOLED screens.

No, sorry. You could try clearing swypes data in the app manager.
Back up the app first, in case that doesn't work,just so you don't delete your dictionary for nothing.

Whenever you guys wear tight pants or wear gym shorts. How does affect the way you're carrying your phone? When I wear jeans, I could tell it won't fit on my side pockets.
