I'd buy it outright, full price, and let them know that my contract is over, and won't be renewed. That's where I am at now.

Just bought me a 32Gb Nexus 7. Currently charging but had a little play. First impressions, awesome little thing, perfect size for carting about with me.

Believe 4.2 releases on Tuesday. Bonus. Ordering the Nexus 4 the same day, too.

Photo Sphere on 4.2 is pretty cool. Takes Panaroma to a new level.

Yeah, the 32GB being released kinda pissed me off, and will keep me from buying Google products.... I bought a 16GB short after launch. Just a few months later, for the same price, they brought out the 32GB... it is what it is. It won't happen to me again.

Happens with consoles too though doesn't it? I think I've conceded that when I adopt early on a product, I know there's gonna be a better bundle/model/version of it as short as 2-6 months shortly after.

When I buy something AT LAUNCH, I don't ever expect a new version of it in four months. If it was in a life cycle period already, and more storage options have been going on, etc., then it wouldn't have been too big a deal.

I know I know, I get ya. I can certainly understand that - and in fact, it really isn't cool when companies do it.

I've just resided myself to that fact that everyone does it. SO I either buy at launch being content with that fact, or wait a few months.

It will piss off the bargain hunter/value seeker in all of us though.

I get the feeling they're still trying to find their feet on tech. Either that, or since they're clearly building on a price sensitive scale; it just didn't allow bigger at that time for their budget.

Given how good the tablet and operating system combination is, I don't particularly think it would be difficult for them to give better launch options and ask for a little more money. So far, the Nexus 7 has exceeded my expectations. It doesn't have quite the same level of polish as the iPad but it's no slouch - if I didn't have the iPad, I'd still be extremely happy with the N7 as my only tablet.

I don'think its a noob mistake by google...i just think since apple announced the mini, what better way to enhance value for money by offering extra storage at the same price as the 16 gig model...i wouldn't even look at the ipad mini now...

Was it wearing protection? I have dropped my S2 on concrete no less, from chest/waist height at times to result only in minor scratches and blemishes.

Not something I would like to test out frequently though.

Flashed my sgs2 to jellybean leaked firmware yesterday 4.1.2...flashed via mobile odin. Very stable, and incredibly smooth. Seriously, it's like having a new phone. Its that much better than ics.

I am stunned that some people appear to love their Playstation(1,2,3) or Xbox(360) more than I love the Denver Broncos.
    Trust me, it's sad

I experience a lot of lag on my Samsung Galaxy S3. Clearing cache and RAM doesnt help much. Looks like android os is badly optimized and has poor performance. Apple devices i own have worst specifications but run faster on the ios. Kinda disappoints me as os performance for me is very important.

Probably find that the usual bloatware is running on your s3 if you check whats running. Few of my mates have s3's and none of them experience lag. Root that mofo and get rid...

If you have a non-rooted S3, you have bloatware running. Sorry. You can say you've cleared mt, and ram cache, but that doesn't kill the processes running in the background.

So how do i root it then? How do I even know if its non rooted or rooted?

Edit: My phone is not rooted. I dont think that i should root it. The phone itself should run fine with no rooting.

Well, you definitely have bloatware on that bad boy. I'll try and get some info on whether it can be disabled or removed, etc.

Anything that has to do with that company that is branded by its name, is bloatware. If you want a more detailed listing, I'll have to research it.
