Ok, I'm planning on switching from Boost Mobile (Sprint) to T - Mobile (one of their monthly4G plans).

Can anyone tell me what they think about T-Mobile? Is there service any good? I'm not too worried about their 4G speed, since a lot of people say it's not really "4G".

Also, here is the phone I'm looking at getting from them:

I can't really conment on T-Mobile in the US but I am with Orange in the UK and T-Mobile & Orange offer the largest coverage in the UK with 4G with EE so I guess they should be good in the US too
As for the LG, yet again I can't comment as I know little about it

I have t-mobile they run deal where you pay 250 plus tax for the phone then het the 250 back ona gift card thats what im most likely gonna do for my phone upgrade when i decided to get a new phone that or just by one cash off craigslist

Is that only with a contract? If it is, then I probably wouldn't do that. I'm not going to try and get into a contract right now. I'm just planning on buying that LG Optimus L9 and getting the $30 plan for 100 minutes and unlimited text and data. I can use T - Mobile's WiFi calling at home, so I don't have to worry too much about the minutes.

I have had tmobile for six years never gave me a problem they took my rooted s2 back on warranty. The l9 is a decent phone its really smooth as far as screen scrolling goes decent development on xda. Way better than sprint

It's looking increasingly likely that Sony will unveil a new 1080p, 5-inch smartphone at CES 2013 to compete with the Galaxy Note II and Droid DNA. We saw some pictures of the rumored Sony Yuga a few weeks ago, but now Chinese site ePrice has posted images of what appears to be the same device with that large, 1080p screen powered on. It looks like Sony will officially name the Yuga the Xperia Z and will likely make it its flagship smartphone for the first half of 2013 — unsurprising, considering the size and density of the display. As for when we might see the device, ePrice believes it'll be available on January 15th, just a week after its unveiling at CES 2013. That'd be an impressive turnaround — too many phones frustratingly haven't gotten concrete or timely release dates as of late, so we'd be happy to see Sony release this device to consumers as quickly as possible.

Thanks for your reply! I'm selling my current phone for the LG Optimus, so hope it's worth it. LG's custom UI looks better than the default android, which is what i have now (ZTE Warp Sequent)

seems unnecessary to me... their annual upgrades don't seem like giant leaps forward...
can't imagine that 6 month upgrades would be worth the manufacturing costs...

Contract is up in Jan. Not sure what to go for -- Samsung Galaxy SIII, Samsung Galaxy Note 2, iPhone, or the HTC One X!

You should wait until after the barcelona show to see whats new...always a good idea to see whats around the corner. Ya never know.

You don't have to upgrade right away do you? Just let the contract roll until that phone that's been announced is released . Depends how much you care about that stuff I guess

Would they automatically renew a contract when it comes to an end? Or will it just die unless I agree a renewal?

Hmm when my last one got to the end and I was due an upgrade I said I wasn't sure yet what phone to pick so they just let my contract roll on a month. I'm on Orange

They usually call to say youre due an upgrade so if you do find yourself in that position jsut say you'd like to wait. I'm sure it won't be a hassle

So any suggestions on how to remove bloatware? As you may already know I have performance problems with my Samsung Galaxy S3.
