I was thinking we should start a thread and have a ranking system of everyone who has played in head to head battles and their rank. I need help on how certain things work but this is what I got so far...

Maybe a points system based on how close the battles were?
3 points for a win of more than 10 votes.
2 points for a win of more than 5 votes and
1 point for a win of 3 points or below. If you lose you get nothing?

Would that not make it fairer since if you won your first battle you could just stop after that and be ranked the best even if you were terrible!

I beat you the first time, and I beat you the second time. Granted the second time was only by 1. But I did it. Legend Killer was my first loss.

That wouldn't work. With all of NUM buddies that come out of no where and vote he'd be past everyone in no time.

(Granted some noobs are amazing but noobs that have just been lucky)

do it like hockey, a win is 2 points, a tie is 1 point, and a loss is no points. that way one win dont make you number one.

ok that soujnds alright then....that way the more contests you enter the better...although...what if though...you had like 32 wins but 300 losses....would you still be #1???

Thats why I think you should get negative points for losing that way losses hurt you.

Sounds good except there are no ties.

There can be some ties.

I think there has been like... 5 battles where someone wins by 1 so a Tie can happen.

Add me up there to NUM I've won a grand total of 1 battle (against Svetlana) and lost 0. Yep that's right, I've been battling hard
