Hey, i got a phone interview in about 2 hours. The interview involves this:
- Courage
- Integrity and values
- Communication
- Understanding the bigger picture
You will be asked questions such as:
- Tell me about a time when you introduced a new concept/idea at work (Courage)
- Think of a time when you made a mistake, what did you do? (Integrity and Values)
- What was the result?
- What did you learn from this experience?
- Tell me about a time when you have dealt with a difficult situation/a difficult customer at work (Communication)
- Tell me about a time when you worked in a team (Understanding the bigger picture)
- How did you delegate what each person had to do?
The above bold questions are the ones i hatei havent remember anything so significant for them, anyone want to help me make some up?
Any suggestions are gladly appreciated, but please anything. This is in two hoursand i need some good answers to these questions
cheers

new concept or idea can be something basic like working part time at maccas when you were younger suggesting they introduce a new system for the staff to implement(Can't currently think of one) or say you done this at 2 work places after succes at maccas
maybe say you parked your car somewhere wrong or you forgot to file something at work this one time
then go onto say you fessed up and it was dealt with ver quickly and no harm was made from it
And you learnt to double check or always fess up to make things easier no point holding back
Teamwork maybe something as simple as a sporting team?
idk im 17 hope it helps
EDIT: wait ur only 18 in that case good luck"Everything that has ever happened has been leading up to this very moment"
"What happened to bros before hoes?" "Well, this one isn't a hoe, so she's first."

hmmmmm smoke a doob before you have the interview, then you will have no trouble coming up with things to say

but in all seriousness, if you get stuck at any point, dont um and arrr and attempt to keep going. Just say "hmmmm just let me think about that for a second", pause relax and take your time. Better to take your time and have a half decent answer then spew out some barely relevent crap.Oh its bad luck to be you, A chosen one of many isn't new,
When you think your full of luck, In the b*llocks you'll be struck, Oh its bad luck to be you, Diddelly dooooo.....
Kinda sums up life, don't ya think?

Ok Say whilst working at a previous job whatever it may have been you were required to File a certain document once you got it or store food somewhere or does something at the check out at the end of the day like at maccas you have to count up all the money
And say you forgot to do it, and you realised this and straight away admitted it and hence nothing bad came of it cus it was fixed quickly and like i said the lesson from this is that you know never to hold back as things if acted to quickly can be fixed
As for a concept I still cant think of anything its 10:30pm here"Everything that has ever happened has been leading up to this very moment"
"What happened to bros before hoes?" "Well, this one isn't a hoe, so she's first."

gster! Are you freaking kidding me? The best answer you can come up with is, "No sir/ma'am! I haven't had the opportunity but I would love to be given a chance to show that I am honest, have strong work ethics and can be called upon to make hard decisions!" Use that and you won't have such a hard a time as you think! Interviewers look for these three things while in an interview and the interview will demonstrate to them that you have these qualities if you are upfront with them.

I agree with asking some questions aswell. Answer theirs as truthfully as possible, if you cant, say something like, "I have never had a scenario like that happen at any of my prior jobs, but if things did arise i was either able to resolve them on my own, or contact a supervisor to fix the issue." Also try using bigger word's. Talk about how you can dictate and get people to work and communicate together effectively. Try to be the one in control.

what kind of job is it? what position are you applying for, staff, supervisor?
And for the new idea, hygene is a big one, i was able to get the facility i work at to install hand sanitizers at some of our heavily used work areas. Could be as simple as something like that, or bigger like a pre-shift uniform check to make sure each employee looks presentable. I mean i don't know just trying to help, dude.

i edited my last post with an idea. Customer advisor huh, let them know how charismatic you are and that you can get anybody you want into bed due to your silver toung of a million sweet word's. lol I don't know man good luck let us know how it goes. But main info i could give is don't sweat it.

Il warn you now, its dos work but can get boring as hell at times. Especially if you get a slave driver for a bossOh its bad luck to be you, A chosen one of many isn't new,

That's a big reason why some companies like phone interviews. In person people can hide the fact that they don't speak as coherently or in a "flowing" manner by using distracting body language. On the phone it's always only about the words.
As for advice... I don't have any =(I never have good "sigs"...

yes! but thats been 2 years of counselling and personal recovery to get over what sainsburys done to me, and you just brought it all back

it was okay, i made a sheet of paper with typical questions, wrote general answers and that helped the fluency of it. Im pretty confident, we shall see in 3 days
