How would you rate PS2?

10/10 Love the PS2.
So many memories, so many good times.
So many fantastic games.

I would like to know who voted 1/10 ..

Obviously people who feel they didnt get much good out of the PS2 and preferred other gaming consoles.

And for some reason I've always prefered my Dreamcast.
Don't get me wrong I love the ps2 but I have so many memories of playing games like Shenmue I & II, Sonic Adventure 1 & 2, Jet Set Radio, Virtua Tennis...
Those were the days...

I give it a 9.
From endless supply of JRPGs, to cheap hardware that is OK-ishly reliable and cheap to replace.

Lost 1 point due to only two controller ports, only 8MB memory card, lack of standard built-in HDD, and early hardware had some issues.

It's probably the third best console ever after the PS1 and SNES. I'm a JRPG fan, so I tend to rank my consoles via how good the JRPGs are. That puts it third IMO.

I'm going with a 9.

It was a great console and (in my opinion) really helped move things forward. The two consoles I think made an impact in gaming are the Super Nintendo and PSTwo. NES was great but I feel SNES was "the" main console.

PSTwo was last gens "pusher" that really developed and sold well. So those are my two top consoles in gaming.
