do inbox messages delete eventually?

do they delete themselves eventually? i noticed on some that they didnt show the current date, but back a few days at 15. just for certain friends, though.. weird!

I just checked mine and I have an *** load of messages still in my Inbox. A few from 3+ years ago too.

I've had mine delete themselves.

When I wasnt online for a couple months my friend sent me like 50 msgs. When I finally signed in they were all gone.

I delete them myself every 2-3 days, so I dont know. But if people have 3 yr old messages, I guess they don't

The inbox has a limit, when it reaches it the oldest message is automatically deleted

if you go to your recieved messages and press triangle it'll give u a option to delete them

so.. any old messages pretty much get deleted automatically? eventually? cos i noticed how i had sent some messages to friends lately, like the 5th, but now when i click my friends messages their gone and go back down to like the 1st!

i jus wanna know if they do indeed get automatically deleted.

I know that with the messages you send yourself, only the latest 200 are stored. AS for inbox, mine have never been deleted

inbox. thats what im talking about.. my inbox messages do delete, im not sure about SENT, though.. this is all pretty weird right now, lol

I think if you dont sign on for a while any msgs you received while still offline will disappear after a bit.

The messages you recieve are never deleted unless you do it yourself. As for the messages you send, only the last 200 you sent will be stored and every other will be deleted.

nope im pretty sure they stay there forever until you delete them. but im not really sure. i delete mine every once in awhile. if you want a fast way to delete them all hit triangle on inbox or outbox and delete
