Me and a couple of mates the other day were discussing making a montage of some sorts, only problem is, we don't know how to record the footage onto our computers.
I'm gunna go do some searching now, but I figured I'd post this here too to see if you guys could recommend something that streams good quality or which brand is the best.

If you want to record in HD, its a bit on the expensive side but its probably the best available.
Any decent cheap ones for £50?
I use an EZcap DC60+ it cost me £20 and you will need 3 splitters, it already came with an AV cable
ClimaxDigital EzCAP DC60+ USB2.0 Video capture with: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo
On amazon there are a couple of negative reviews but I think the people had set them up wrong or bought fakes, if you get one make sure you buy it from climax digital.

A link to one my vids to check out the quality
Are those SD capture devices, or do they do HD as well?
Yeah it comes with software but I don't use it I use total arcsoft media to capture and I do the editing in Sony Vegas, there are videos on youtube on how you can get them programs, that's if you don't already have them.
I read they are Mac compatible but I think you have to buy a program to capture on them, and they only record in SD.
