Halo Reach VGA trailer...

I saw it and I'm wondering are they using that as an example of what gameplay is gonna look like? cuz there's no way.. Although I do like the idea of the story line

Some of it looked ingame, some of it didn't. Like their faces. And the armor. And the whole thunder cloud thing.

Ya i agree with that cuz the ground and airships easily looked like it could have been in game. It just seems weird that they'd mix CGI and gameplay..

It's all using the reach engine. Bungie have already said this a thousand times. They don't use cgi for cutscenes and this was part of the opening of the game.

looked good the sky looked freaking awesome cant wait to hear more about the story tho as ive read all the halo novels and im wondering if its going intertwine with the story from the book

Meh, I guess it could pass for in-game. It looks like they really overhauled the characters, if true. The environment looks all the same though.

Just want some gameplay, that trailer was pretty disappointing.

Yeah, Trailer wise that was definitely a letdown, considering how epic the Halo 2 and 3 trailers were.

Graphics look breathtaking though!

Cool trailer, but after all the buzz i whished they showed some gameplay though. I am curious to see it.

Trailer was okay, though I am excited about it being based off the "Fall of Reach" and "First Strike" novels.

The graphics look incredible, the scale is simply ridiculous but this trailer was disappointing.

That is strange because their armor looks nothing like Chief's in Halo: CE. It looks more like ODST armor than spartan.

Watching it in HD, it looks great. I was hoping to see in game gameplay though. Remember that first Halo 3 in game engine trailer in 2006? Halo 3 never looked as good as that first trailer. Not even close. I'm sure this game will be in the top 5 visually for the year though. I guess I was expecting gameplay of some sort to be shown. For sure this is the bump up they needed to stay competitive technically with what's to come. I'm expecting Gears 3 gameplay to look better though than Halo Reach gameplay. Bungie has never really been nailing visuals as a whole in their games.

Yet again the only difference between Halo 3 and the announcement was the AA and resolution, everything else looked better in the final game.

Also this isn't a trailer, this is a part of the opening cinematic. Big difference.
