So close to my first Plat!

I have nearly got my first Plat which is Uncharted 1! The only trophy I have left is the Crushing one. I have heared a lot of people say that they only had the Crushing trophy to do, but couldn't and they just gave up in the end.

Is it hard until around chapter 9 or hard all the way through?

Just so I know. And yeah, 3 shots kills you, so I'm going to use cover a lot for this one.

My crushing playthrough felt much easier than the previous "hard" one.

In my opinion, for being "crushing", it's very easy.

Oh that's good, because my Hard playthrough was not a challenge at all. I guess it all depends how good you are at the game. I'm about mediumish.

Just started my Crushing playthrough and already on Chapter 2 out of 22 Chapters.

crushing mode was my easiest run through of the first game. By the time I got I started it I knew exactly where everything was. Made it quite simple. The hardest parts, least for me, are the areas where you're in the church for the first time, running through the courtyard after the plot twist, and the 3 battles leading up to the final boss. Overall though, still quite easy. I skipped cut scenes and finished my crushing playthrough in a little less than 5 hours.

Awesome. Good news for me then. I have completed Uncharted 4 times (on different accounts), and now I know where everything is, and the enemies and cover. Should be easy for me then. Will either complete Crushing on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Chapter 4, where you have to defend yourself from a few waves of enemies after your plane crashes, that's probably the hardest bit. After that, it's just more of the same - using cover frequently, avoiding being flanked, etc. A good strategy is to not stick to cover, but simply aim and inch round it, using the R3 stick the change your shoulder view. That way you can inch enemies into your sights one by one, and they can't shoot you. It doesn't work for low-height cover, obviously.

For the infamous plane-wreck fight, there is a great way of passing it without much trouble.

What you do is this:
-Shoot enemies far away with gun
-When enemies are really close to you, shoot them from cover with the shotgun

Works amazingly well if you choose a good hiding spot.

Theres a funny glitch for the blue room too which makes it incredibly easy.

Really? I played the demo on medium where it was fine, and then switched to hard and found the difficulty to go up quite a bit, specially when they rush you.

I haven't played Uncharted, but as most people can agree with, there is nothing like getting that first platinum.

keep it up, and don't give up on it.

ALOT of cover, patience and memorize when and where the enemy appears. you should be good.

I'm one of those who got every trophy but 'Crushing on Uncharted', I managed to platinum Uncharted 2 though.

There's some tough area's throughout. I gave up at the 2nd Church area - relatively late in the game w/ the several snipers, shootgun guys etc..
