Yea but home ac units can be a lot more expensive to fix the first good lighting storm to hit orlando I'm reporting my ac unit to insurance and they are gonna give me a whole new unit lol....my ac guy will get the proper paperwork to my insurance so I can get it new time to get paid lol...
300 isn't bad I was expecting worse homeownership is cheap smh...

633. I had a $500 window unit that got a power surge from lightning. My power company said acts of nature are not viable for a claim through them. So pretty much 90% of their claims are probably rejected. Luckily it just fried the trip switch on the plug. Replaced it and works like new.
